This is a small restaurant located along OK-58. Our visit was due to being taken there by our Aunt and Uncle for dinner. We were very happy with most of the meals that were served with the exception of the brown gravy being very salty. Our party placed orders for the following: Buffalo Burger with potato wedges, hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and fried okra, catfish sandwich with fries and fried okra, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, beans and salad, and the calf fries with okra, beans, tater tots and salad. I personally had the Buffalo burger and enjoyed it greatly. It was cooked well, the toppings were fresh as well as the roll being fresh and soft. The potato wedges were exceptional, crispy outside and soft inside with great taste! Portions were large and well worth the cost. All pricing was very fair and the staff was efficient, friendly and had a great attitude for what they were doing! Our waitress was on the ball with keeping drinks full and always had a smile on her face with customers! I would highly recommend this place when in the area! It seems this place is busy for the area, including people around the lake. We had to wait a about a minute to get a table cleaned off, no biggie. Our server came over quickly to take our drink orders. Few minutes later we placed our food orders. Our waitress never came back to refill our drinks, had to get up and let her know, also about my salad which never came. Our food came within reasonable time, it was hot, but wasn’t too good. Wife had the Indian taco which wasn’t good, but okay. Me and my friend had the hamburger steak with grilled onions and brown gravy, it was okay, gravy was good, mashed potatoes tasted instant, green beans was old style thick. My friends Mac & cheese was awful, he didn’t eat it. His wife had a hamburger patty it was cooked to her liking, again slow service, especially for a small diner. I would only eat here if in the area and hungry.

This place is the real deal. Was recommended by a friend, had no idea it existed. It has recently been completely rebuilt in a new building just next door to the old one, so a lot of the pictures on here of an old/run down establishment--that's not it anymore! My burger was very good, very homemade, good beef. My girlfriend really loved her Indian taco. Service was great. Cheesecake was excellent! Again, everything felt genuinely homemade, real/quality ingredients. This is the kind of place you can hunt a lifetime for these days, getting rarer and rarer. Very clearly a locals favorite. Seemed popular, but not so popular/touristy as the Meers establishment down the road. We liked this place much better than there. Very happy we found it!

I'm writing this after the 3rd time that I've gotten a simple to go burger wrong from Ann's. The last two times the person taking my order has repeated my order back to me. I still get veggies on a burger when all I asked for is mustard and ketchup. I hope you enjoyed the review. It's been long overdue. This place has really gone downhill in taste with the talent in the kitchen, which I assume is the reason I always see a help wanted sign on the outdoor sign when I drive by it 5 times a week. Make sure to check your to go order when leaving this place, for the love of Christ, I wish I could get a burger from here without having to tear it apart so I can make sure it's done the way the customer ordered it.
