Bandana Reds Steakhouse — Restaurant in Oklahoma

We had been wanting to try this place for sometime. So hubby took me there lastnight for a surprise dinner date. Everything was perfect. From the decor to the sweet tea. Wow we started out with fried mushrooms (best) we ever had. Hubby had the KC strip steak. He usally doesn't care for anyone else's steak but the one he cooks. He fell head over hills in love with it. He said it was cooked perfectly. I had the salmon, oh my wow talk about delish... It is served with a sauce they make. Oh yummm. And we had the double baked potato. Oh man another delish. And did I mention the grilled vegetable melody. YUMMM... Ok I have to recognize the home made hot rolls and in the bottom of the bread basket was these little jewels called cinnamon rolls. Can not even began to tell you how delish they were. I was so stuffed I couldn't eat mine. Oh but hubby did. Lol..oh I have to mention the special butter they serve with the rolls. Not sure what was in it all I know is how wonderful it was. Ok last but not least. The staff was superb, never let our tea glass get half empty. Our waitress was a busy little bee. But checked backed often on us to see if we needed anything, with a smile on her face even though she was so busy. And when hubby got the check. Wow could not believe how satisfied we was with the total. Ok am sure I could go on & on. But you really need to try this awesome little gem of a place. We know will diffently be...

Would not recommend. The waitress: forgot my salad, didn't refill my drink one time, and dropped a container of A1 on me. And then, my steak wasn't cooked the way I ordered it. Very disappointing experience.

Update because I cannot respond to the owner's response

You are correct. We were a large party (19 total, 3 of them were kids age 5 and under.) That being said, with a party that large, I would think we would have been somewhat profitable for your establishment and worth the effort.

I did order an extra well done streak. It was not cooked to the point of almost being burnt. It was still pink. You are correct, the waitress did offer to send it back to be more cooked. But this was at the end of our meal when she brought the to-go containers for the rest of our party because everyone was done eating at that point.

You are correct, I did only have to wait a minute or two for my salad, but ONLY after I asked if she forgot mine because the rest of our party was mostly, (if not all the way done,) with their salads.

First time it was great. Last 3 times. No flavor, 3 hour wait just not on my to do list. Well 10 months later and here is where they are. Not the best cut of meat. First steak came medium, second once as you can see below was rare. (45min wait) everyone had ate and were leaving. asked for medium rare, I just ate what I could and left the rest of the tough, chewy meat on the plate. fish has always been salty still is. Continues not to be a place to stop for me. Glasses were empty, but is not from a lack of trying from the wait staff. Think they had 2 maybe 3 waitresses working i can say she was busting her tail it what earn them a 2 star. How can u be out of soup at 5:30 and u open at 3:00.
