BoomTown Pints & Pies — Restaurant in Oklahoma

We have gone there twice for a late lunch being on the lake all day. The first time we called in Togo thinking we could sit on the patio and eat so we didn’t have to wait on the pizza when we got off the water. We were treated like we didn’t belong had to ask for dinks plates napkins. No one came to ask if we needed anything but pizza was decent. The second time we came we tried to call ahead we thought maybe doing a dine in order they would treat us a little better.... was not the case. We couldn’t do I dine in order over the phone only Togo’s so I said okay if we order Togo but still want to sit on the patio and have drinks we couldn’t? If we wanted to do that then we would have to go to the top balcony that had no shade and no service? If we are a paying customer I don’t understand why we couldn’t sit on the patio and order drinks and enjoy ourselves in the shade instead of getting treated like we...

On the positive side: The server we had yesterday was very attentive and polite. We never had to ask for a refill. The food was pretty good!The fries are big and crisp. My burger was good as well.

The negative: it was super dirty and the floors were filthy. We didn’t see one attempt to sweep the floors after cleaning off tables. It’s abundantly evident they probably don’t do this all day. Flies were everywhere and they didn’t seem to have a way to control them. I went to the bathroom and saw into the back kitchen area. We almost left because it was so disgusting! The windows were also very dirty and in need of a good cleaning.

This place seemed to be kept better in previous years we’ve been there. I doubt we’ll go...

This place is now called The Lighthouse. Food was fresh and quickly, although there wasn't many folks there. The appetizers were so dang hot, I love it! I had the fried pickles. They have a full bar, although I did not drink any alcohol on this visit.

The waitress provided excellent service and she played along with my sense of humor. That's always a plus as I am susceptible to flattery. She was excellent.

The atmosphere and lake views became a very soothing, peaceful backdrop. It was a nice surprise actually. However, it was way too hot the day I ate on the patio. There should have been a way to cool that area down.

Overall, I will be back to see if the Lighthouse will provide consistent service. I'm looking...
