Facility has good parking and easy access onto the lot. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff was always busy wiping something down and keeping the dining areas in great shape. That is the only reason they got 2 stars instead of one. Based on our experience, I don't recommend this restaurant. When we got there, there was a gentleman who had just finished paying and then a hostess and a male employee standing at the register. I don't speak Spanish, so it very well could have been standard conversation, but the two employees spoke back and forth in Spanish for 5 minutes before they even acknowledged us--even though they were both staring at us. They took us to our table and took our drinks and brought us chips and salsa. There were 4 tables with people at them (including us) and one table with customers in the room next to us, so they weren't incredibly busy. While we waited on our drinks, 2 of the other tables were both loudly complaining about their food or their service. Once our chips and salsa were gone, I asked 2 different staff members for refills. All said okay and never returned. Finally a young lady that was bussing tables came and asked if we'd like more, then refilled them. Each time I asked for salsa I also asked for a drink refill but never got it. Asked for a refill when the food was brought--never got it. Finally after I was finished eating the waiter came by and got my husband's drink refill. My husband had to ask for my refill: the whole time my cup was empty; I'd even eaten most of the ice. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger, they forgot the bacon. The burger was stacked as such: top bun upside down on bottom, beef patty, cheese slice, bottom bun in middle, then a burger patty on it and then a top bun. No pickles, no sauce/condiments but there was a packet of ranch and 2 small ketchup packets on the plate, as well as a slice of lettuce. It was very very dry, made drier by the fact that I didn't have a drink. I was told theyd bring me some bacon to add, but after 10 minutes of no bacon I just ate it anyways. My husband ordered a chimichanga that he said was the "weirdest chimi I've ever had. The white cheese sauce tasted like gravy." My daughter ordered wings but said they were so tough she couldn't eat them. Most meals here are in the $12-14 range; for the price and "quality" I'd go...
Read moreWas my first time there, the 3 stars are for the place itself as it is very nice. Took my granddaughters there for dinner after a long day bed shopping. They love it, me... not so much. We all ordered the same thing,2 chicken enchiladas w/white sauce. It came with refried beans and Mexican rice. First off the chips and salsa were great (best part of dinner) but were served one small bowl chips for 3 ppl 🤨 we all had sweet tea to drink (almost syrup sweet) so if you go and your diabetic... might not want to have the tea. I ordered pico & guacamole as well cuz it wasn't offered with the meal. When it arrived, again... very very small amounts (like single serving small) for 3 ppl. I found out my face says things without my permission as one of the girls was laughing so hard she could barely eat lol. Sooooo... that covers the best part of the dinner. Somebody needs to learn how to make enchiladas lol because that was definitely the worst I've ever had 😒 the beans were scorched 😲 couldn't eat those 😒 but hey... the rice was excellent 😉 so needless to say, I was not impressed 🤨 Now I understand that everyone has an off day and the fajitas delivered to the next table looked and smelled awesome 👍 sooo, will I give them one more chance to wow me? Probably.... but I definitely won't be ordering any enchiladas 👀 I'm usually not one to complain about every little thing concerning eating out but I kinda feel like throwing this out there is a must. I worked in this industry for years myself and what I found completely intolerable was the checkout. It took almost as long as choking down the food and taboot, when the girl finally did decide to check us out she asked if everything was ok. I said " you might wanna let someone know the beans are scorched". In a careless manner her reply was... "yeah we know, sorry bout that" 😲 as if it really didn't matter. Based on this experience alone, the chances of me recommending this place to anyone... definitely not good but, should that change I will...
Read moreI wish I could rate this restaurant highly as the food really was very good. But after my partner rang and asked if they could cater to my gluten allergy and she was reassured, when we arrived the waiter seemed both clueless and unwilling to find out what did and didn't contain gluten.
I asked about several items on the menu, to which he said, "I don't know," when I asked if it would be safe to eat. I honestly should have left then and there, but when I asked if he could check with the chef what would be safe, suddenly he knew what did and didn't contain wheat.
I ordered food and trusted that it would be safe to eat, but sadly had a gluten reaction anyway. The food was great, but the lack of care towards people with food allergies was very frightening to me and I won't be returning as a result.
What's most disappointing was the assurances that we could be catered for easily and that wheat products could be substituted for corn. Places shouldn't offer accommodations they...
