Lisa needs to work on her customer service and listening skills. Our order was simple a cheese burger deluxe light on the condiments Chilli & cheese fries (Which is exactly how it reads on their menu with the & in between the Chilli and cheese so one would assume according to the menu of the establishment it would come with both) and a grilled cheese. Sounds easy enough. All is well in the world everyone's happy no big deal. Food comes...nothing on the burger but mayo and mustard no cheese on the fries just Chilli okay so that's part of it but where's the rest. She walked away so fast after putting the plates down we didn't have a chance to ask. So finally got her attention she comes over we asked her about the burger she said oh I didn't hear you say deluxe I thought you just wanted lite mayo and mustard. To which I politely replied no we said deluxe but no big deal can we just have the rest. Before I could ask her about the cheese she bolted off again seemingly very annoyed. My Suspicion was clarified once I saw her get to the kitchen and talk to the chef. I heard her talking about us in a not so nice manner. Not our fault she didn't repeat our order back to us before leaving the table. So she comes back and we pointed out the missing cheese, both of us still as friendly as can be...we even had the menu out in our hand to double check our memory if it came with cheese or not. So when she gets to the table menu out we ask her about the Cheese... She says it doesn't come with cheese. We then pointed to the menu and said. Well, it says chili and cheese, so does it not come with cheese? She says I'll take it back and put cheese On it with a roll of her eyes as she walked away. She gets to the kitchen again speaking not so kindly of my boyfriend and I which blue my mind yet again. He the cook puts it in the microwave with the cheese on top for way too long. So by the time they came back to us they were burned on the top and soggy underneath. We sat there Eating our food didn't dare ask for new fries cause I looked over at her while she was at the Bar and she gave me the nastiest of looks. I smiled at her trying to spread some kind of kindness because clearly she was in a very bad mood. She comes over, takes our plates once she saw we were done. She asked if we wanted anything else, my boyfriend asked her for the check. Now, typically when you have a bill at a restaurant. And you pay for that bill. The waitress automatically brings you your receipt with your change. When she came back, she brought us our change, No receipt so before she ran away this time. I stopped her and asked her for a copy of the receipt. She walks the 2 steps back to our table That she had already taken told me next time to ask Her for the receipt When paying for the bill, because her feet hurt and she's tired of walking back and forth. Now, I give her props Because she's the only one there to bartend and waitress the floor. However, She only had 3 tables, including ours. And maybe 4 people at the bar. So how is it that she was struggling so much? Because the people that were sitting at the bar, they were just sitting there. Drinking their drinks Not needing anything, so they're pretty much on auto pilot. The other 2 tables besides ours. She didn't even serve them, Because they didn't need anything except for their check turns out the previous waitress who had just left took care of everything for them. So we got there seemingly at the shift change. So once found that out we wondered why the poor attitude from her. I understand things happen in personal lives outside of work, but in the customer service industry You better leave that stuff at the door. It's not our problem if shes having a bad day or her feet hurt. We treated her with nothing but kindness. And what we received in turn was An attitude of annoyance and inconvenience. We still gave her a tip but only two dollars. Whoever owns knob hill should have a chat with her because that treatment just lost long...
Read moreJust stopped in on the way home. We aren't from the area so we didn't know what was around and we stumbled across this little gem. Shiner Bock on tap, served in big cold glasses was an awesome and unexpected surprise. Along with the server who was prompt, polite, and efficient. A lot of times if you aren't a local or a regular in these little bars they make sure to let you know serving you isn't a priority. Not the case here. I recommend stopping in and checking the place out to anyone passing through, or looking for a new little hangout spot if you're from the area. We didn't eat but the food...

The main cook was in the parking lot. A cook I have tipped numerous nights. Was kidding with him. He went off and said " Go eat somewhere else". Didn't waste my time to go in and tell Steve. South Riley will take...
