The Spot — Restaurant in Olive Township

The ice cream itself was really good! I got the mango and actually loved it! Plus the service was great, we got our stuff quickly and the employees were really sweet! The chili cheese dog was definitely less of a hit— it wasn’t terribly warm, and the ingredients left a bit to be desired (plastic-y cheese, etc). But overall as long as you stick to the sugary foods you should be good! The atmosphere is pretty cute overall, but the road noise made it pretty hard to enjoy an otherwise...

This was our first time here and we were excited because it had great reviews. We ordered and waited, other people that got their after us had gotten their ice cream so we asked if ours was coming soon. We were met with a rude “it’ll be out soon” 20 more minutes pass and we ask again to find out that they forgot to make our ice cream. There are many uninspiring, hole-in-the-wall cone shops, but the Spot is phenomenal! Like many, it has lots of great ice cream, including Hudsonville and Mooville. What separated it is it is clean.
