Taqueria El Taco Naco — Restaurant in Olivehurst

We visited El Taco Naco on a week night. We ordered a carne asada burrito, chicken burrito, 4 carne asada tacos, and rice. My cost was over $40. We were excited to get home to sample this hot spot! My son first tried the carne asada burrito and the meat was so tough, but what stood out the most was that it tasted old! Like it had been simmering on the stove for days, but it was tough. We tossed it. Then I indulged in my chicken burrito and I have one word for it. Mushy. The chicken was like rubber and it was overran with beans. Now we tossed that one, too! Next, the tacos. We didn’t have high hopes since we were pretty sure it was the same meat as was in the horrible burrito we just threw in the garbage. And we were right! Strike three! The wait for our food was over 20 minutes, and the cashier acted like she was doing us a huge favor by taking our order! Definitely do not recommend...

2nd time ordering here. We chose to eat the same thing we ordered the first time. First time food was good and that's why we came back.

2nd visit update: today, 11/1/24. We ordered the same exact as last time. Surf ans turf nachos and asada burrito.

Soooo disappointed and won't be back. So sad.

Nachos was missing ingredients like the 2 types of cheese I had on it the first time.

Burrito was Asada but was all beans! Barely no meat.

We ordered around 12ishpm. But they were sooo busy.

It's sad the quality and service was not consistent. We work hard to try and eat good food. We definitely got let down. We won't be back...

I don’t recommend their Carne Asada. It wasn’t that great but their pork and shrimp was very good. I’m giving them three out of five stars because there was no parking. All three spots they had were taken. They also looked at me like I had a third eye when I said I was here for a pick up. They forgot my fork (which I specifically asked for in my order) which meant I couldn’t eat my surf and turf fries. So that was a waste of $13 because I couldn’t eat it later.
