Sundaes Afternoon Ice Cream — Restaurant in Omer

When I stopped by on a weekday afternoon, there was no one in the lot. The friendly staff said that business comes in spurts. You can order at the outside window on the porch and pick up at another window next to it. I had the recommended single scoop, “Michigan pothole” (fitting), in a homemade waffle cone. The cone was delicious.

Stopped by on our way thru with my 4 grandkids- service was wonderful- the kids enjoyed their ice cream … the negative … the 4 & 5 year olds had to go to the restroom—immediately after being handed their ice cream ….. we tried to open the door.. it was locked - window service only— a lady told us we had to use the ports potty around back—- with little kids…. And NO SANITATION STATION—- it’s a huge building …very disappointing this business is not more...

Absolutely loved this little ice cream shop. It's definitely an amazing little gem on US-23. Knowing it is like a Mom and Pop ice cream shop made it all the better. We enjoyed sitting in the giant Michigan mitten chair near the road and watching the cars go by while enjoying our delicious ice cream. My son even got the flavor hee despised the past year and...
