The server that we had for the evening, must not understand that a couple wants to eat together when they go out. When taking out order(s) she got mine and then when asking my significant other what she wanted, my significant other was not ready to order. Then with blaiten disregard, without saying a work, turned and went to the back. I was at the least expecting her to ask, well litteraly anything else. So about 5 minutes rolls around, server still has not come back. After the 25 minute mark I received my food whilst my significant other sat without an order even in the system. I went to say something but then this server, she did it again, without asking a single thing (at this point drinks were empty too) she left almost dropping the my untimely food. After almost 45 MINUTES, she came back and asked my significant other... "Do you plan on eating anything ?" Needless to say we were very upset at this point. We just wanted to have lunch together. I have absolutely no plan on returning unless reached out to by management to try to correct this mistake. My family has been coming here for years, and due to this servers lack of, I don't even know what it's a lack of, they have lost our business. If given the chance to re live this, I would have spoken up at the time, but at that point my significant other started to cry and wanted to leave. We paid for my food and left it there, because it was already almost an hour old. I hate making a fuss, but seeing her cry like that because of a SERVER, broke my heart. I have worked food service for years, been everything from a dish boy to a manager, under no circumstance would I allow this to happen if I had pride in customer service. I have no clue if anyone from Bluemoon will read this, but if you do I would love to fix this...
Read moreI know I'm picky with my food. When I am paying for service I expect that service. First of all I am new to this place. I asked questions about things before I order. The person I spoke to was short and sounded spiffy attitude . I asked for both Muenster and cheddar cheese said I like my fries extra crispy. Pickles on the side (as some pickles don't taste right on a burger) asked for onion. Did they have red onions yes ok I would like them on my burger. Asked about Lettuce and tomato? Yes. ok great I said. I grabbed the wrong card and she kept speaking about it being denied with customers around and not quietly as I could hear her when I came back in the place...From the stairs. I gave her the right card and asked her not to speak loudly about my card. I get the burger thin one onion slice not even the whole slice.. one sliver.. Pickles were on it no ketchup no cheddar cheese. Fries were like the ones I described to her and said I didn't like. But she said classic ... they weren't. They weren't extra crispy either. Called to talk to owner he said come back we will fix new burger. I said I can't I'm already on my way out of town as... I don't live in LaCrosse area... I said I come back there on Thursday I can get it then... he stated so you want us to make you a new burger because there was no cheese on UT? Ok we can do that. (Sarcastically) Just call ahead and we will have it. *I usually don't have too many problems ordering my food I know what I want how I want it and I ask questions and clarify. I am a waitress too so I know it should be clear and repeated back to be sure. In the head the burger itself was great just didn't care for tone and attitude. I would like to take my daughter there to eat but I will definitely be expecting better service...
Read moreMy wife and I were on a couple's weekend in the area. Stopped by this place after seeing great reviews. I will preface this by saying that our waitress was excellent and other staff was also-- The food was also excellent. The patrons of this place is another story! We went there on late Sunday Afternoon during NFL season. The front entrance was congregated by about 7 jersey-wearing, obviously intoxicated late 20's/early 30's, obnoxious males who appeared to be waiting for a ride. They were swearing and slow to move aside in order to allow us entry into the building. Not the best "welcoming committee" and judging by a stare from one individual, I had some concern for safety. When we went in, there were many open tables and a few more people were inside who were obviously football fans (wearing various jerseys). They were not afraid to loudly shout vulgarities ("F-word" being their favorite).. And I really felt sorry for the staff who were dealing with their drunkenness. The view of the river was excellent! But unfortunately, we also had an excellent view of an overly intoxicated, elderly man staggering into the parking lot... Falling over near the street. A couple of the other drunks in the parking lot, helped him across the street to a park bench where he appeared to pass out. It was disheartening to see such a fine looking place be inhabited by a bunch of buffoons! I'd use caution if you decide to go there...
