My family and I came here for dinner, and we were not impressed. It took maybe 20 minutes before we were able to order, which wasn't a huge issue because we figured it may have just been busy. However, our waitress came off very rude. She seemed to be annoyed by requests to remove things from our orders, and when she finally got around to the last person to order, she started having a conversation with the people behind us. The drinks came out at a reasonable time, but they gave one of us SPOILED MILK! It had also taken maybe 40 minutes to an hour for us to get our food, but it was only have the table. It took another 10-20 minutes for the rest of our food to get to us, and we had realized they never even STARTED their orders yet. We happened upon this small town cafe several months ago while driving through Onamia. Since that initial visit we’ve been back a half dozen times or so. Each time the service and food has been absolutely outstanding. The one server has been working most visits and she already recognizes us and each time remembers things about how we like our food prepared. The toast in the picture may look burnt but that is exactly how my dad requests it. He doesn’t like soggy toast. We’re super impressed with her as she gets the order right every time! I go here once a month for sure when I pick up my medication across the street from here and if passing through and I can get whom I'm with to stop and eat we do. My friend Scott and I really enjoy the daily specials they have, but the menu items are good as well. Beef stroganoff is very good, the chicken wings are fantastic, I love them, the burgers are good, the hot beef or hamburger I like alot. They serve pineapple upside down cake and I truly truly love that I've found a place that offers my favorite cake, there other cakes, bars, & special bakery items are good, usually don't have much left by noon.
