Roma’s Diner & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Onancock

Good food overall. I love Pizza, in my opinion the sauce makes the pizza, accompanied by a great crust. The crust is great, but a regular pizza ordered with regular sauce (in my opinion) isn't great. I always order extra sauce, and of course it comes with extra cost. So be it, the Pizza is good. The garlic parm wings are almost always amazing. The chicken parm is good, sometimes a bit too much water in the sauce. And the steak and cheese Stromboli is awesome. Staff is always upbeat and welcoming, couldn't ask for better service. I have been in there on busy nights and the tables aren't the cleanest. Overall though I love those place. Ok this is an edit. Last time we went here was in March 2025. We got 20 wings garlic parm and Alfredo. Both were horrible. The wings were dry dry, they didn't have hardly any garlic parm on them. You can tell from the pics how dry they are. We had this problem one time before and were told they were too busy to make the usual sauce, which is crazy. If your busy like that and you can't make it tell us it may be longer or something. Mcdonalds food sucks but they have standards at least. The Alfredo looked good but was lacking in flavor, my wife ended up adding some from a jar we had. I love to cook but I enjoy eating out, giving my wife and myself a treat, but it seems more often a lot of places are hit and miss anymore. Your business should be your baby, your supposed to protect that, especially when it comes to cooking. I'll probably not eat here again. I can make better wings and pasta at home for a fraction...

Typical roadside restaurant. Huge menu, lacking in taste and low prices.

Server was nice and attentive however she was hard to understand with her accent and forgot silverware and napkins for the table, minor things that can be fixed.

We each had chicken wraps, mine was buffalo chicken and hers was a chicken caesar wrap. Both were dripping with sauce, chicken was so hot that we had to let it sit for close to 30 minutes before we were able to eat it. It is my opinion that they microwaved the chicken to get the order out faster instead of cooking it the proper way of grilling. Even if you cut the chicken up before cooking it on the grill, it would have been better even if the chicken would have been dry. The one good thing about dinner was the fries, underseasoned but they were nice.

Chances are I will never be back here since we stopped on the way to VA.

It is sad when the best part of the meal is a bottled drink or fries. Have a little more pride in the product you are putting out there and try seasoning the food...

If you’re ordering online, be aware, that what they have listed online is completely different than what they have on their menu apparently. We ordered a chicken rancher pizza and it was supposed to come with pizza sauce, cheese, ranch, chicken, bacon, and onion. We got our pizza and it was just chicken and cheese, and the ranch was the sauce. I called to ask what happened, and was told rudely that I should’ve looked on Facebook and it wasn’t their problem or their fault that I didn’t get what the online order said it would be. I have looked at the menu on Facebook since, and it doesn’t say that the pizza comes with no pizza sauce. The pizzas above it on the menu specify (no pizza sauce) so the chicken rancher seems like it is supposed to come with pizza sauce.

Just disappointing that the customer service was so rude when I just wanted clarification on why our order was different than we thought it would be. The food wasn’t bad, but it would be nice to know what we’re getting when...
