Wilson’s BBQ, Oneonta — Restaurant in Oneonta

Food was terrible I felt like I ate a bucket of vinegar with a bowl of mayo salad. Slaw seemed to be nothing but cabbage soaked in vinegar, potato salad was nothing but potatoes and Mayo. Meat was meat nothing to brag about, sauce was ok if you like a vinegar base, well I hope it was ? I asked for ketchup base but I got vinegar. Beans tasted funny? Like they tried to doctor some canned baked beans? But I could not but my finger on what the flavor was . Out of 5 people eating , 0 people liked it. Also got the chicken tenders , they were indescribable, not sure how they were cooked? But did not taste good either. We don’t see...

Just got take out from Wilson’s BBQ for the first time and my last time. The worst BBQ I have ever had in my 60 years. The “baked beans” tasted just like Pork and Beans you get at Wal Mart. The servings were less than a 1/2 or 4 oz. When I called to see if there was a mistake in the size I was told I could order a pint. I have seen what shrink flation to save on food cost but these small amounts are ridiculous. Don’t go to this restaurant it is not worth the money you pay. Plenty of other BBQ...

Honest review.

-Positives- Place is very clean and the staff were incredibly polite.

-Negatives- Bread was cold. Fries were clearly out of a bag and where lukewarm. The ribs though they fold off the bone they weren't seasoned for anything. And they barely gave you enough sauce to cover them all. The beans though absolutely delicious! We're served in this tiny little cup barely enough to be considered a side.
