Boiler Bar and Grille — Restaurant in Orange

A true diamond in the rough. Little off the beaten path and it does not look like much on the outside. However it is located on a beautiful park/river. Inside it is very clean. Staff was super friendly and very attentive to us. Kept coming back and checking on us, cracking a few jokes with us and overall made our meal a pleasant one. Highly recommend Kassie if she is available. Halfway through or meal the Chef came out and chatted with us! Nice little surprise. They had a gentleman performing some entertainment behind us. Not too loud. Just enough to still have a conversation with your friends. And last but certainly not least...the food.....AMAZING! Everything we had was cooked perfectly and so delicious.

Gone down hill since they opened. I got the Buffalo Mac n cheese and my daughter got the chicken tenders. 1st, the Buffalo sauce was just some generic buffalo sauce not very flavorful, portions were rather small, for an almost$20 plate of Mac n cheese i could have ate more. The worst part were the chicken tenders themselves, they were tiny, literally the size of my pinky finger. Both me and my little girl left disappointed. That being said, the wife got the meaty mac and that was delicious, again smaller portions than in the past. The loaded fries were great. Today I had a Prime Rib steak and cheese sandwich and a cheeseburger egg roll complimented by a drink they call "The Trump". I could immediately tell that the chef and his crew have a passion for cooking as everything was amazing. The wait staff was very kind, down to earth, efficient, and well mannered. I would highly recommend this place as the atmosphere is gorgeous in that it has a cozy rustic yet modern country feel to it. There is also a lounging area with couches and a fireplace for those who need to kick their shoes off and relax. One of New englands hidden gems. Also, there is live music every Friday and Saturday night and they also have a trivia night. Great place!...
