Donut Palace — Restaurant in Orange

For the past 3 years, this place was our Saturday morning go-to. We frequently recommended this as "the best in the area". However, something has changed in the last 6 months or so. My order is almost always wrong. My typical is 2 kolaches, 2 cake donuts, and 2 sprinkle glaze. Guaranteed I'll recieve the donuts but not the kolaches. Or the sprinkle ones are changed to something random, like long John's. My husband and I joke that McDonald's has better accuracy than this place now. In Minnesota your only option is Dunkin Donuts, which in my opinion is industrial baking with a taste to match. I was amazed and pleasantly surprised at the light consistency and perfect glazing of my donut order at Donut Palace. It's called a palace, as they treat their customers like visiting royalty. We use the drive through. Food is always handed to us cold. It’s never warm or even ask if we want it warmed up. People are in their vehicles in a drive-through for a reason I contacted the manager she just said mmhm. Not a sorry, or we will do better.
