If you want a quick waste of $50 for buffet breakfast then go for it. They finally opened back up and they were packed but completely out of all of the meats. No bacon, sausage, onion sausage, or biscuits on the buffet. Once they did refill them it would only be enough for 2 or 3 customers worth and the food pans would be empty again and then more waiting! Grits were lumpy and barely warm as the cheese and butter would not melt. They need to not put the liverpudding behind the eggs because everyone was dropping that stuff in the eggs. Eggs were cold. Got there almost 2 hours before before they stopped serving and the line never stopped and they kept bringing food out so they never ran out but they were not getting it out fast enough. If customers are wasting all the food then they need to have a worker serving the meats to make sure they have enough. None of the fruit got refilled. They let customers go up and get their own drinks and scoop ice with another glass as we had to ask multiple times for drink refills. Pancakes were hard as a rock even the kids would not eat them. If you can't make food for a breakfast buffet I can't imagine how the dinner food is. The lady making the bacon kept dropping it on the buffet line and still putting it in the pan to serve customers. Some was still raw and most was burned. They might get it together but not worth the...

My only 2 disappointments were, the squash was cold and cold fried squash is not very good to me but others may enjoy. The other is there weren't a few more side selections but I suspect that will come as they become more known and busier. I recommend trying this place. It's definitely worth venturing out through the countryside for. For us, it's no longer of a ride than going...
Read moreWent on Sunday. Good chicken, mashed taters and gravy, excellent collard greens, good slaw. No Barbecue on Sunday? I reckon they ran out. Each table should have Tobasco Sauce, instead of chasing one bottle all over the restaurant. No country restaurant should run out of cornbread/hushpuppies. Overall, it is good to have Laird's back. Everything on the buffet was good. I look forward to going back when they have made enough barbecue and hash to last...
