Goble Tavern — Restaurant in Oregon

If I could leave a Zero star I would. I live in Rainier, and thought I would finally check out the Goblet Tavern. Upon entering the establishment we found no staff, or welcoming committee. Eventually two local guys sitting at the bar said hi, and pointed to the kitchen and stating very loudly the women back there would help you. After standing around for 10 more minutes, the woman emerges from the back of the Bar area, and asks, "What do you need?". Not, " Hi, how can I help you, or Welcome to the Goblet Tavern, is this your first time?". She was matter of fact. My wife and I stated we would like to try your burgers. The rude woman then handed us a menu and walked away. Never asking if we would like have a seat, or would you like a drink while you are waiting. Folks, I work hard for my money, and want to spend it well. I'm not in the habit of paying for poor service. If I don't feel comfortable walking into your establishment, why would I eat your food. You never get a second chance to make a first impression. So to anyone reading this review, save your money and go further down the road to Don Pedro's where the treat you with dignity and respect, and the food is great. Fun little place! There are slots in the back section behind some curtains for privacy, it has several board games, darts, pinball machine, juke box, pool table, and a spacious backyard with corn hole, a ping pong table, a fire pit and tons of seating. So there is always something you can do if you find yourself feeling socially anxious and awkward just like me lol. It has karaoke on some nights and live music sometimes! The vibe of this bar is very homey and you can tell that this place is ran with love and a really huge consideration for the customers because it pretty much has everything to keep things fun and the decor is really neat!
