The atmosphere was relaxing, in my younger days I would have enjoyed it with a few drinks. I can only write about the fish-n-chips. The fish was cooked right, not oil soaked like some places. The fries were done right too. The coleslaw was lacking, boring, not worth the effort. I had to ask for the tartar sauce and it was not regular tartar sauce. They did something to it or bought some fancy brand that wasn’t traditional tartar sauce. The little service of ketchup was not enough, I had to ask for more, but I had to wait, the waitress did not come around much. Which I generally like when they only visit my table periodically. I hate the small cafes where the waitress harasses every sixty seconds asking how I like the food. Trying to milk a tip. So this place was nice, I was able to relax and enjoy the evening without feeling like I was sharing my evening with some waitress.

It was a beautiful sunny day, and we were looking for a place to enjoy a cool beverage in pleasant surroundings. A vinyard and golf club seemed a great option. The view was nice, other than an unfortunately placed rooftop. There were no non-alcoholic beverages on the menu, no sodas, no mocktails, which was the purpose of our visit. I asked for a mocktail of some various juices and a splash of sprite to give it some fun. They happily obliged and made the refreshing beverage I had in mind. The food was of good quality. We were served the wrong food, which always makes for an awkward situation. The restaurant was understaffed, so they were unable to clear tables. Our servers were very kind and attentive despite the workload. It was pleasant, but I don't think I will be returning.

Tried this place the Friday before mothers day and it was pretty good. It’s a nice place where the vibe is pretty quiet but as it got closer to closing time more folks showed up. Dinner was good; wife got the prime rib, mother got a grilled chicken sandwich and I got their VR burger. Food didn’t have anything special about it but still good and the drinks were a bit strong for my liking. Overall would try this place again. The sunset wasn’t too bad either ☀️

We went to The Vintage Room for their Easter Buffet. I figured it'd be good considering the rest of their meals are nice, but Easter was disappointing. Perhaps still on the heels of covid, its been difficult to find good employees with experience- just a hunch. Our server was fine, though we were initially seated at a table where someone in our party had to stare at a wall. That was very awkward. We asked to be moved to a different table, which was a little better. My review is less about service than the food- it was barely warm and the offerings seemed a little off. I was hoping for Eggs Benedict and though it was available, it was barely warm to the touch. The bread portion was almost hard, definitely dry and the whole thing was bland- no butter, no salt, no hollandaise sause, no lemon wedge. What kind of chef prepares Eggs Benedict that way? Moving on, the bacon was delicious! Scrambled eggs were okay too, but more fresh fruit would have been nice. Strawberries and cream/yogurt were provided, but that was it for fresh produce. The dessert area was a joke... and I LOVE dessert. They offerings were unrecognizable because they were at least four hours old- dry and crusty. I believe one of them was supposed to be Tiramisu, but it was so dry I just opted to skip it. Long story short, I wasnt impressed with the Easter Buffet. I'll stick with their Prime Rib dinners and go elsewhere...
