Swirlz Lake Orion — Restaurant in Orion Charter Township

First of all Swirlz has the best frozen custard I've EVER had. It is TO DIE FOR! They also have Sanders Hot fudge, and they have cream puffs (did I mention fresh cream puffs?!). And they pack them so full of delicious and amazing custard and hot fudge. Lastly, the service here has been Incredible every time I've gone, and they are so kind. I remember one time last year I came right near close, all the way from Waterford (because it's worth the drive), and they stuck around a few minutes late for me. And they were so sweet about it. Not many places will do that. They aren't officially offering curbside pickup, but I am immune compromised, and they happily brought my order out to the car today. I just can't say enough good about Swirlz. The service is incredible, the custard is out of this world, and they have Sanders fudge....

Horrible, the frozen custard was salty for some reason, the caramel was on the other side of the cup more separated then the eyes on my face, the frozen custard was horrible and over expensive and I’m pretty sure they just gave me ice cream instead of frozen custard, the root beer was on the top for some reason separated, never coming here again. Three star. Also I would like a reply from someone who works here because I am very disappointed and I’m gonna name everyone in my family who got disappointed, my mom, me, my sister, my other sister, my dad, yes that was my whole family because no one liked it. Get the Banana Cream Heaven Flurry. It is second only to the Georgia Peach Flurry which is extremely seasonal. I also like the Frozen Custard Nachos (broken waffle cone=nacho chips). Update 2023 (5 years later)... This place has gone downhill. Summer 2022 I got a large dole whip by which the cup was only about 60% full. I asked why it wasn't full like it always used to be. The kids behind the counter indicated the owner told them not to go more than three swirls around the cup. Also March 2023, I got a large flurry yesterday by which the cup was about 75% full. I'm thinking this is another owner-based initiative for cost-savings. Finally, every single item I mentioned in my original review is no longer on the menu. Hopefully all of the cost-savings works out for Swirls. Four-star rating has...
