I went into this restaurant, met some people. And they said, oh, come sit with us. So I sat with them, and when the waitress came, I told her, I'm not with them. My check is separate. I ordered chopped barbecue. I wanted brisket, but they don't have that dinner came with potato salad and coleslaw and very stale dry bread, the chop barbecue was terrible. It was not fresh, very small pieces. Many hard pieces in with it. It was not edible and I didn't need it. The potato salad was direct from Walmart. And the close law, I think came from Walmart too, as I said the bread that came with it was stale and hard. I did not eat my meal and I was starving when it came time to go pay. I went up to pay and my meal was 17 something, and then it came out $22. That's because she edited an 18% tip. I told her 18% tips. He says, yes, on large groups. We add 18%. I said, I'm not with a larger group. It's just me. And she said, oh well, you were sitting with them. I paid and I left surface was terrible. She was very nice, but she didn't have enough experience to come back. And look and see that I didn't touch my food and ask me what was wrong. I definitely do not recommend this place at all. I've been in a restaurant business myself for 32 years, and to be honest with you, I don't think I've been and a worse restaurant. I see why their ratings are low. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else. And get a meal. You can enjoy as soon as I left there.I went to brahms and got a hamburger and french fries and a coke. They just should be ashamed of themselves for serving. This type of food service was slow. I noticed that the people in the group didn't finish their meals. Everyone said the bread was stood stale. And what do people ordered? They only ate part of it Since she added an 18% tip, I went and got my $5 back. She should have kept quiet. That $5 was more than 18%...
Read moreI said at the bar and the girl that was waiting on my section was really sweet. The food though leaves a lot to be desired. The brisket was dry the pork was dry I had a to meet plate so we're batting a thousand there. I thought the sauces were good but I see other reviewers had a problem with them. I honestly got a kick out of the hot sauce so much that I actually texted a picture of the squirt bottle to my friend. I don't know if I'll stop here again maybe if I'm really really hungry but the food leaves a lot to be desired but the people for the most part are real nice.
The regular store section employee could use an attitude adjustment. I kind of think she was put out that I was a female CDL holder and the truck driver. She seemed a little bothered that I was asking her questions about the hot case. Everyone that walks through the door is a customer. I really wanted to say something to her but I know when to pick my battles.
Took a walk around the place so and did enjoy the petting zoo although I didn't do any feeding. I like to take my dog into different environments so that he can experience the smells. We don't get around too many farm animals and he was definitely enjoying the visit. It's probably the highlight of the whole...
Read moreI'm a truck driver and I've been coming here for years. Within the last year, the quality of the food has dropped significantly. It used to be so fresh and tasty. Don't know what happened. Mind you it's still okay but definitely not like how it was a few years ago. Management needs to be a little more on top of things concerning the quality of the food being served. On a lighter note, Jenny is a gem as well as the other waiting/server staff. Alot of times their short handed and they do the best they can with what they've got. I'll give them that. The truck parking lot needs to be leveled a bit. Quite a few deep holes. They have a petting zoo and a pirate ship inside for the kiddos as well as a fishing pond out back. All in all this is still a great place for a meal and...
