This is the third time I've ordered from Ralibertos in Oroville. The first time I asked for a refund because they gave me the wrong food and I didn't have time for them to remake it. The second time I ordered through doordash and everything tasted very old very cheap. But I decided I would order one more time before reviewing. I had high hopes for this place. I was excited about the possibility of a good Mexican restaurant near where I work. Today I went through the drive-thru and ordered a breakfast burrito which contained sausage, bacon and ham, potatoes, eggs and cheese. I was surprised when she handed me the bag because the burrito was massive and it must have weighed at least a pound and a half. But my first bite quickly dissipated any eager anticipation that I may have had. 90% of the massive burrito was soggy, barely cooked. Store-bought shoestring fries. The cheese tasted slightly sour, and there was no discernible flavor in the sausage, ham, or bacon. This was essentially a half cooked french fry burrito. I was grateful that they gave me two containers of hot sauce, because they provided the only real flavor for the meal. Even with the hot sauce I was only able to eat about a quarter of the burrito because it just wasn't good. This is an enduring quality of ralibertos. Their food is consistently overpriced, bland, and the services is very slow. My burrito was $18 with no substitutions or add-ins. Bottom line, there are other options for Mexican food in Oroville that are really good, so overpaying for bland low quality Mexican food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst off we did not go on opening day to give time to get acquainted, day we went only had about 2 tables of customers in lobby that quickly left leaving us to be the only patrons. They do have DT but it only had about 1-2 cars at a time. We waited for over 1 hour for food, patrons that came quite a bit after received there items while we continued to wait. We asked if something had happened like ticket got lost and were told that they are really busy and would be longer, the staff was argumentative and rude. We ordered rolled tacos, well these were lack luster I could have boiled my own chicken and skipped the seasoning myself, enchiladas were nothing like Iāve ever seen before, presentation on paper plates and food not hot is not what was expected, tostada seemed to be the most confusion as we ordered it was said to be lettuce cheese pico, guacamole & sour cream, came as lettuce cheese, staff argued about how we ordered a flying saucer not tostada, donāt know what the difference is but geez the attitude and argumentative nature is not a place I would ever go back to. As far as atmosphere donāt have a salsa bar of chips arenāt included and use/fix AC I donāt appreciate eating in a fly attraction with doors propt open and no AC. So service, food , atmosphere would be zero...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible service. Staff is rude to customers and had to wait over an hour for 3 soggy tacos. The place was so hot due to the door being propped open. They blame everything on the customer and donāt take any responsibility or ownership for their poor organization or lack of intelligence when it comes to running a business. They blame the heat on the number of customers coming in, when there were only a few people in line, and the door was CLEARLY propped open, and flies everywhere!! āincluding floating in the salsa at the salsa bar, which does not include chips. Everything is separate (a la carte) , so no combo meals, and way over priced. As I have friends that work for the Department of Health, I WILL be reporting them! I certainly donāt want anyone (especially someoneās child) to get serious food poisoning from an overheated, fly-infested food establishment. If I could give this place negative stars, I definitely would, because itās not even worth 1 star. Iād thought Iād at least give it a try, but so very disappointed. Iāll just stick to my favorite Mexican restaurant, Los Compadres , where the cleanliness, service, atmosphere, and food are all the very best...
