Food was decent but waitress was horrible. Hopefully she was just having an off day. It was a Saturday evening so we expected it to be busy. We were seated and our drink order taken then a while later a different waitress came to take our drink order again... we did eventually get drinks and order our meals. Our drinks were gone by the time our food came out and was dumped at the table, one of the 3 meals only had 4 fries on the plate... as soon as the waitress sat the food down she was gone. We had to stop her twice as she was running by just to get ketchup and attempted to order more drinks. We did eventually get ketchup thrown to us in passing and tried to get her attention many times to order drinks without success. She had stopped and checked on the tables around us but never stopped back at our table and apparently did not see the many times we tried to get her attention. We stopped other waitresses to get service only to be told that they would send our waitress over. She never appeared. After 30+ minutes sitting waiting for a check we finally went to the bar to speak with the lady working that area to see about getting our ticket so we could pay and leave. We were told that our waitress would be sent over. After about 10 more minutes we did finally get our ticket and stopped her before she could run off again and paid so we could leave. At that time we were offered drinks which we refused. Slow service is expected during busy times but no service is...
Read moreWow! I have spent time writing 5 reviews in my life… 3 good and now 2 bad. Went in for dinner at 6:15 on a Wednesday. Seated quickly with no personality, almost felt like a nuisance. Waited over 20 minutes for a waiter who was doing his best. My 2 daughters walked to the gift shop after we ordered by the pool to buy a shirt, or anything Dog Day’s. The staff in the poolside gift shop sent them to the gift shop in the main building because they were supposed to have “more”. They went to that gift shop and things really went down hill. My daughter told her which sweatshirt she wanted and in a medium. The employee put a sweatshirt in a bag and my 14 year old daughter paid for it with her own hard earned money (she busses tables at her families restaurant). When she got back to the table she realized it wasn’t the shirt she asked for. Back inside we go to get the right one. They didn’t have the one she told them she wanted and we kindly asked for a refund. We were told no refunds. Outside she goes to get a manager and it gets good. They told me I was a joke and they don’t need people like us here! (I have it on video!) We come to the lake regularly and visit one of the many locations owned by these people. We were threatened to be “thrown out”! Trust me, they didn’t need to “throw us out”, never again!...
Read moreLet me start by saying the steak bowl was amazing. The server we had was very short with us, but not bad. Management on the other hand was horrible. I gave the server a gift card and told her I wasn’t aware of the amount and that I’d pay the difference in cash. My total was 24.72 she handed me a book and said there was $25 on the card. Inside the book I was unable to find the card or a transaction slip for this purchase. I walked inside and asked for this and all the 3 or 4 young servers (that seemed to be new) could only tell me they didn’t know where my card could be and they couldn’t figure out how to give me a receipt??? So now my card is lost and I have no Idea how much was truly on it. The Server tellS the MOD (who seems to be in a conversation with some buddies) about the situation. He asked her how much was in the card she replies “.28”. Instead of properly verifying this by printing me a transaction copy he proceeds to be sarcastic and hand me a blank gift certificate with a quarter on it and tell me “ we owe you .03 cents” !!! I’m sure there were other ways to handle this as a manager. But what do I know. As I spread this story around I have found out this happens...
