The Hatch — Restaurant in Osage Beach

Yesterday was our 2nd time at this restaurant for breakfast. Group of 6, didn’t realize we were coming back to this place again or I would have protested! We were told a 10-15 minute wait. It was 30 but I can live with that. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed and the kitchen staff possibly on a skeleton crew?? We waited 65 minutes for our food to arrive!…and it was cold! The hash browns are the worst! Super small portion, tasteless and dry. Their 3 egg omelette is 2 small eggs at best! The cinnamon roll was delicious AND warm! Go figure.🤷‍♀️ One person with us ordered a fruit plate and a piece of toast. She never got her toast and there wasn’t much edible fruit either! Management wake up! What is going on here?? One couple got up and walked out when they saw our food arrive as they had ordered 10 minutes before us! Our first time there was not much better but at least the food was warm! In another note our server was a gem. She apologized several times for wait on food etc. Too many other places to waste your time...

I give 1 star for the horrible kitchen service. We arrived around 10:15am and sat around 10:30am. Our server was Ashley P and she was great and attentive. However, my 5 year old and I noticed that there was groups sitting that arrived way long after we sat and received their food before us. My son was getting impatient to the point we almost got up and left over some chocolate chip pancakes and my haystack with pork green chili that didn’t even get to our table until 11:45am. We finally said something about the service due to getting really hungry and my son nearly having a hangry meltdown. Not to mention the management didn’t even bother to bring us our food to apologize for the wait time. I’ve been in the industry before and this is just beyond disappointing considering we come several times throughout the summer but we’ve decided to never come here again because of the unpredictable wait time. Probably one of the most dysfunctional management and kitchen staff here...

I dont think I've ever left a bad review on a restaurant, but there's a first time for everything. I ordered the summer salad and the blueberries were shriveled and squishy, the lettuce was brown and rotting, there was not feta and the chicken I paid to add was the driest chicken I've ever seen. My sister in law doesn't even cook her chicken that dry. Not to mention the strawberry vinaigrette was not good (this part may just be a preference though!). Told the waiter and still paid for that $16 salad with no offer from anyone to fix the rotting salad after telling them. They did offer to bring feta though! Now lets get to my husbands meal. He had the shrimp tacos, he asked for the bang bang sauce on the side because he is sensitive to spice due to a medical condition. Tell me why those tacos came covered in sauce....Lol anyways, the view was nice, but we wont ever go back there. Should have gone to culvers for lunch and saved...
