I live 45 minutes away. After having exhausted all McDonald's locations locally looking for an adult Minecraft meal for my son, I called to make sure they had it. I double checked the confirmation because we had been told already by another facility the same thing only to get our hopes dashed. You can probably guess where this is going, but it was the interaction once we got there that was disappointing. Apparently, they don't know the difference between the adult and kids meal version of the toy. After spending almost $30 on 2 meals, my son realized his instincts were right. He TOLD the kid taking our order h was pretty positive it was NOT the adult version when he showed it to us. I should have trusted that and would have saved a lot of frustration. The food was, as typical, barely warm when we got it, but even if we were given the most perfectly cooked food (you know like the stuff they picture in their ads!!) it still was immensely unenjoyable because my son was SO deflated and sad that we drove all that way and was let down again. After going back and forth 3 times pleading with them that it was the wrong toy and then assuring them, with Google search evidence in hand, they finally admitted they didn't have it. The lady that told me on the phone they did admitted it was her but of course shifted the blame "THEY told me it was on the truck out back". Right. They started ignoring me or making eye contact like I was just going to accept it and go away. I finally asked if I could get my money back. They didn't like that. "You want your money back" they asked as if they were dumbfounded that I would ask. Discussion between staff the cashier said something to the effect of 'they already started eating it". Well, I had eaten like 3 cold fries. After being ignored Ifor 5 minutes I finally just asked the lady her name. I was just going to go corporate route and make sure I had a name to give. Once I did that she came over to give me a refund. Never gave me her name. The refund was a couple dollars short ($28) but I didn't care. I just wanted to get out of...

Didnât tell us the total or anything. Just told us to pull around. Got up there she yells the total at me. Then hands me a drink carrier with 5 drinks on it. 2 of them had hair on them. I only saw 1 at first and asked her to please get me a new one that didnât have hair. She rolled her eyes grabbed in and took it in the window. Iâm pretty sure she just took the hair off of it and handed it back but the windows are tinted so I couldnât see in. Then she told me to pull up for food. While waiting at the window that we pulled up to for our food she stuck her head out the window, looked annoyed and yelled âcan yâall just pull around alreadyâ. I didnât move, I was still waiting on my food. At this point there was about 20 cars behind me which caused the line to stop. Finally got our order and we were missing multiple things that we ordered. The food was cold. If you are passing through this town I would recommend to skip this McDonaldâs!
