Playa Margaritas Mexican Restaurants — Restaurant in Osceola

The first time we went here, it was amazing! We had a male server he was on top of refills and listened to us when we ordered. He smiled and was friendly and made us feel welcome. Since our last visit had been so great we decided to come back, for us this was a mistake. We had a female waitress who didnt listen to what we asked. For example my husband asked for no ice in his drink, he got ice and when he brought it to her attention he was ignored. When he got a refill he asked for no ice again and was again ignored and given ice. I asked for a glass of water with my other drink and had to ask for it three times before i got it. Just a couple of examples with just the drinks and same issues with sides for our supper. We had to constantly remind her of what we had wanted. She was a bit abrupt and it felt very rude and unwelcoming, the complete opposite of our first visit and we were very disappointed. The food was decent and well priced. Late arrival into town and wanted something other than fast food. Got to Playa near their closing time. They graciously seated us and did not make us feel rushed. I had a burrito and wife had the avocado salad. Both were excellent! The sauce on the burrito was tremendous and the avocado salad was fresh and fabulous. Waite staff were very pleasant and accommodating in spite of the late hour, on a weekday. I highly recommend Playa's and look forward to dining there again when my work travels...

Possibly due to lack of servers, but our visit here on a Sunday at about 3-5 was pretty subpar. No one to sit us, had sat ourselves (party of nine). Took about 10 minutes to get drinks, food took even longer. Food was good but not all orders were how they were asked to he prepared. Only good thing was that we somehow ended up with 5 things of salsa and just as many chips. Luckily there was not to much business on this...
