Went for the first time on a Saturday date night. Service was good & so was the food. We had the pub wings as an appetizer, did the dry rub with the garlic Parm sauce to dip in since we couldn't decide which flavor to get on the wings. I personally LOVE dry rub wings, it's my #1 wing flavor, but I found these incredibly salty and would order them as dry rub again. However the garlic Parmesan sauce was SO good!!! Definitely doing that sauce next time!! The wings come with actual chicken legs in addition to whole chicken wings (wing & dummy portion still together), which I was super surprised about!! For an entree I ordered the salmon which was not seasoned at all, VERY bland and was even slightly overcooked as it was dry. The roast baby red potatoes & green beans were delicious though!! My date got the Ahi Tuna meal and that was delicious!! The roasted red peppers & picked ginger went SO well with it! (I stole some to eat with my salmon which helped a lot!). The tuna also comes with an Asian vinaigrette that was drinkable it was SO good!! (Also helped spruce up the dry bland salmon!) The service was good. The hostess was a little off putting, she did smile at all, didn't greet us when we walked in, & was very hard to hear. Our waitress was very friendly and answered all my questions! My ONLY complaint is that I had to wait for a drink refill longer than typical and waiting for a refill is a personal pet peeve of mine. She was on top of the refills the rest of the evening though! Next time I'd for sure order the wings, although I'd bypass the dry rub and do the garlic Parmesan sauce instead.

I usually love this place and recommend everyone to go there, however not tofay. Today i took my family and the following events occured. Our waiter took 15 minutes to greet us and then put us on hold so he could place a different order. Then he took our order about 20 minutes after arriving. 45 minutes later he says our food is coming out...i asked about our cheese curds and he said they are coming with the food. He then walks outside and starts flirting with another waitress. A separate waiter grabs him from outside to have him get our food. The waiter comes to our table now 1 hr in total later with cold cheese curds. Then i asked him to box our food as its now been over an hour since we ordered. He then brings me my check before i recieve my food. 15 minutes after i get my check, he brings my burnt wings and cold fries. Long story short...i spent 86 dollars for cold/burnt food and wasted 1 and a half hours.

I found a hill I will die on...its this plate of nachos. It's on the appetizers menu, but I chose them with Chicken as my lunch entree. I managed to stuff about 2/3 of the plate in my mouth over the course of my noon meeting. But as an app, this would easily satisfy 5-6 people. Layers of chips and cheese in there under the topping of lettuce, Pico and black olives. I love how they put the sour creme on the side. The marinated chicken was delightful too. But now I want to come back and try the beef version...

My family (7 people) went here for my birthday as we've had good food here in the past and enjoyed the atmosphere. However, it has been a while since I was here and the experience was unfortunately not good. I will note that the cheese curds and onion rings seem to be consistently good and we have ordered every time we have been here. This time I thought I would try their chicky sandwich as it was noted with a box around it so is one of their signature items. My mom also ordered this. It came on a large toasted roll. I cut it in half and took a bite and there was NO chicken involved. I took the bun tops off and there was literally one small chicken tender for the entire sandwich, that cut in half was equal to two chicken nuggets. I showed our server and she informed us that yeah she has told the kitchen about this as it seems to be a recent issue. She said she would have the kitchen make one more chicken tender for me and for my mom. Well when they came out they were WAY overdone - so much so that none of us can understand how the kitchen would think they were ok to send out or how the server thought it was ok either. By then everyone was done eating so it was pointless to ask again about correcting the "chicken" sandwich so I tried to salvage what I could bringing it and fries home. That was a mistake - the overdone chicken tender was stringy and inedible. I feel bad my family wanted to take me out for my birthday and actually had to pay over $15 for this meal. Tippys - please improve or remove this from your menu, especially marking it as one of your signature items. The server really just should have removed this from the bill. I have loved this place but this last experience has me wondering what happened and if it is worth it. I wish I would have taken a...

This was my post to tippy's on FB" I have been a patron for years at Tippy's, mostly for the people. As a patron I ordered dinner there almost weekly (sometimes 2-3 times a week). About 80 percent of the time the food was not prepared well. The following was the usual experience: dry fish or shrimp, steak or burger not done the way I requested it, pizza burnt or wrong toppings, chicken fettuccine was soupy, luke warm food, significant delay in receiving food. At times I would voice my concern with wait staff and declined any discounts. Rarely I would complete complaint cards as I never received a response to them. I asked the owner how they QC the food before it goes out and she reported that it is checked. Former wait staff reported differently. The lack of concern is a concern. Why did I keep coming back? I am a patient man, value eating what is given and not waste, there are not many choices in this town with a variety on the menue, and the people. The straw that broke the camel's back. I recently ordered a pizza to feed some hungry kids which was burnt. Given it was late I opted to have them make another and they discounted the bill. I called the owner next day to express the inconsistencies with the food. Her response was then why do you keep coming back. I offered suggestions, i.e., as an owner you might consider spending more time QCing food that comes out. She stated 90 percent of regulars like the food but not the folks i know. I stated i should just return food if it is not done well. She stated if I come just don't order food. We agreed that it was best for both of us if i no...
