3 beers on draft from Boatyard, 2 others in bottles. All good choices. I wasn't sure what to expect when I got there. Right now it's a beer/wine bar with a couple of small snacks, bring-your-own-food or order delivery for food. It's not connected to the dog park. It's nice inside though a little echo-ey. There is a small patio that looks over the dog park. It has bar tables, regular tables, and 6 or 8 soft chairs. You can bring your dog in.
At first I went because it kinda sounded like the dog park is connected to the bar and I thought it might be free (based on experiences with dog parks in the past), but that's not how it works. At the moment it's pretty separate. I think this would be awesome if it was connected and like, free dog entry to park with open tab or something.
No food so far but they do bring out a food truck on Tuesdays.

Read moreWe can't have dogs, so instead we take our dinner, sit on the porch under the trees, get some wine/beer and watch the dogs at the dog park. Couldn't ask for better! The folks at The Thirsty Hound are accommodating and friendly. The snacks, desserts and cocktails are reasonably priced. They encourage conversation and a leisurely visit. I'm not completely sure, but I believe they have WiFi, too. I may just head over with my laptop to work next time...
