I don’t normally review that much unless things were absolutely horrible. I took my family out for dinner with our 2 year old. We waited 1 hour for an appetizer and luckily his spaghetti buttered pasta with French fries. My wife’s and my food took an additional hour to arrive. We worked things out with the hostess and waitress for box out meal that had not made it to our table in 2 hrs. They were very accommodating and understanding. The atmosphere tonight was dinner and line dancing in the other room. I do understand to generate more business for bringing things in like this. But also need to take care of food coming out in a timely and quality fashion. The food that was packed up that we waited two hours on was a veggie pizza and a chicken sandwich with French fries. There is no excuse for 2 hours. I’m happy my child was able to eat but the food we received to take home was either undercooked or burnt. This used to be one of our favorite spots and we had an issue a while ago with accommodation. This restaurant can not handle a large gathering while also taking care of the dinner area. I do not think we will be going back again for a long time until things and word of mouth...

We asked to have another open table away from kitchen door, but they never cleared off the vacant table so it could be used. Three menu items that were wanted were unavailable. Server delivered drink orders quite separate from one another. I ordered hot tea. The water in teacup was only half full splashed mostly in saucer. Our guest asked for water with lemon and it was served with no lemon. The nachos was good with an interesting puffed cracker instead of tortilla chips. The entrees were mixed up by the server and had to be fixed twice. The salmon I had was very dry. The broccoli were few. I asked for a second cup of hot water because I only got half a cup in the first place with a saucer full of wet napkins. The hot water added to my tea cup was so hot it burned my mouth, tongue and throat. I asked waitress for water because I burned my mouth on the tea (there was no water on the table) and she took her time returning with a cup of water. I needed it to cool the burning so badly too. When I go out with guests and spend over 100.00 for dinner I expect to have a decent dinner, well and accurately prepared. This was not it. We...

Just returned from dinner, my meal (fish and chips) was served, first bite, not warm, second bite, cold, third bite FROZEN solid. Sent it back to the kitchen where owner, Brooke was cooking. Waitress offered another meal, I declined as the taste of frozen fish isn't pleasant. No apology from waitstaff or owner. Decided to opt for dessert, in the meantime asked for clarification that I would not being paying for the frozen meal, my one drink and dessert. Gabbie, the waitstaff said "No you had the option to pick a different meal, you don't get to decide not to pay for the drink and dessert." At that point I decided to cancel dessert, pay the tab and leave (we were a party of six on a slooooow Saturday night in Otis) and we are local residents. It was HUGELY disappointing that Brooke didn't come out to apologize ...this wasn't a "cold meal" but a FROZEN meal. The waitstaff making executive decisions and with an attitude was unnecessary. I ask, would it have been unreasonable for The Knox to omit the charges for one drink and one dessert after receiving a FROZEN fish...

I would actually give it 3 and a half stars. We were not wowed by this location, even though the staff was very nice. We had expectations of a midlevel restaurant and it was more like a sports bar. The prices are pretty good and we did like the boneless wings and my pork chop with the apple chutney was good, the garlic mashed potatoes were alright. On the other hand, my wife's steak was not cooked the way she likes or asked for. She asked for medium well to well and it arrived medium and a little bloody. I know, some would say send it back, but we aren't regulars and we don't know them. Sorry, but if the chef/cook is having a bad day, I know, I'm over thinking it. We ended up sharing our meals instead. We may go back now that we know what to expect.

I placed a takeout over the phone. I asked if the calzones came with ricotta and I was told no. So I ordered the calzone, not only was it filled with ricotta it wasn't filled with what I ordered. I ordered the Butcher calzone, and instead got something that only had sausage, pepperoni, and grilled chicken. My sister-in-law ordered a salad and asked for a substitute dressing. Instead of getting it, they gave her what the original menu item called for, completely ignoring her request. Ordered the mozzarella bites, and they were plainly disgusting. Felt cold and like rubber with no crisp at all. Nothing was redeemable

My friends and I enjoyed a nice meal here Sat night. Limited menu and hours due to an illness with one of the staff. Eventually we got the right server and ordered drinks and apps. Our Tito's lemonade drink had to be redone, not the right lemonade. I got the chicken Piccata which was good, and my friends got the prime rib plus French onion soup. We all had a small salad too. The food and service was good. Nice ambiance too.
