As a direct result of recommendations from friends and locals, I visited Casa Real twice within the last week. From start to finish, my experiences were phenomenal. Although I had to wait a few minutes to get an outside table, I was instantaneously greeted by someone bringing homemade chips and salsa to the table. In less than a minute, Enrique my server handed me the menu, which to be honest, was very overwhelming, but I asked him a few questions and a recommendation and decided upon the Monterey burrito. In less than five minutes, the piping hot entrée was delivered to my table. To look at it it was a work of art almost too good to dig into but nonetheless I did. The shrimp was large, and the chicken and steak were plentiful and nicely, seasoned along with the rice topped with three delicious sauces on the outside. I normally have a very healthy appetite and could eat quite a bit, but even I could not finish the entire burrito. I happily took the remaining home and snacked on it later. On Friday night, I returned for their fajita dinner for two, although I was by myself. I figured I would have ample leftovers, and about seven minutes after ordering, a waiter came out with one large plate, and four other accompanying dishes, which I assumed were for the couple in close proximity to me, but he kept coming and placed them in front of me. The presentation alone required me to take pictures and send them to my friends. It was absolutely mouthwatering, over the top delicious and was beautifully presented. The massive portion of the size of the beef, chicken and shrimp with the sautéed onions and peppers was truly enough for three or possibly four people. The refried beans and the yellow rice along with the guacamole and lettuce and tomato sauce was Delicioso. Because I also happen to be an iced-tea fanatic, I can say, with 100% certainty that the tea along with slices of lemon was very refreshing and was a good strong quality tea. I made it through perhaps 1/3 of those four plates and brought the rest home. The dinner for two at $27.99 was an incredible feast very modestly priced. This time, I had Mario as my server and similar in nature to Enrique, he was extremely polite, very helpful and I enjoyed communicating with him as well. Sitting outside, I even recommended that he tell the manager that they should have a bar set up outside for their overflow crowds, while people are waiting for a table, they could serve beer/margaritas and have salsa and chips as people could relax until their table was ready. That would definitely draw people in, especially if there was nice music with quality speakers as people drove by. This would be a great way entice first timers. I will definitely be returning sooner rather than later, and would strongly recommend this restaurant to anybody who legitimately craves authentic Mexican food, served fast and with large portions. No wonder the parking lot is full more often than not.

Wow!!! What great food, great service, and great servers. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is really cool, cocktail drinks are on point. The place was very busy which is a great sign, people continuously walking in steady using every available table. They were so good, no one really had to wait in line. The food came out hot and in good time, the waiter was friendly all while getting lots of smiles from the other waiters. Other waiters would grab our dirty plates when they walked by and my drink was never low always full. Keep up the good work everyone, I drove from Holland just to eat here. Well worth the drive.

Condensed, wife went in fall 23, had tacos, pretty good, wanted to go back. We went in early December, I had burrito, just ok, nothing special, bland! Wife’s meal not as good as first time. Waitress was not good, took order, brought food, never came back for anything, had to ask someone else to get our waitress for the bill even though she was on floor working. Would have liked more water etc. Went second time Jan 20, 24. Wife’s meal bland not happy, I Had a chicken chimichanga, again bland, tried everything on the plate with it to get flavor, nothing. Sorry, some of the items that came with it do not belong on the plate. In other words, refried beans doesn’t go with chicken (I feel), never had beans with Chimichanga at other restaurants. Most flavor was the refried beans. Mex rice, no flavor, chimichanga, only knew it was chicken. Had a waiter this time, very nice, brought chips, asked if we were ready to order but we needed a couple minutes. Came back promptly, took order, food came out in less than 4 minutes, yes 4, and the place was busy. Food looked like it was thrown together. Back to waiter, never came back asking how things were, any problems, nothing. Came when we were done. We wanted/needed a little sauce, more water etc but never came back. I can just a little, understand bad waitressing, but when the food is NO GOOD, never go back!!! Oh, almost forgot, went to restroom, little dirty and no soap, AND, the first time WE went, the next day we weren't feeling so good, and this time I was a little sick AGAIN and the food was going straight through! So now you can make...

I have eaten here often but after my last experience, never again. It still feels bizarre. The person behind the front counter either could not or would not acknowledge guests. She was standing, staring off into a distance, and no eye contact with any customers. There was nobody else to ask. I definitely interrupted her inconveniently, and it showed through her actions. Talking to her about their restaurant’s website for this location was impossible. I was informed there was no such thing after I inquired about the taco bundle that was advertised. So I forgot about it, not a big deal, and ordered carry out with another staff person that came up and took my order. My order was repeated back correctly. I paid, left a 15% tip, all good, and I waited. Easy.

My food was ready, I said thank you, smiled, and was out the door. Back home I opened the bag and found I was short an order of three tacos. I called and was hung up on when I explained that I didn’t receive three tacos. This happened every time, 18 times. I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF I WAS CHARGED CORRECTLY…whether I aught to go 15 miles back to the restaurant to pick up already paid for food, or if it was a simple error and no money lost. The last call, number 19, I wasn’t hung up on! Nope, I was on hold for 10+ minutes, listening to them talk about how I’m trying to scam three tacos. What? I’ve never had an experience like this one!! It felt like I was being pranked!! So bizarre. I do not trust food when there is no true customer service. I have served and cooked food for years prior to my job now. This restaurant has...
