Rixford Well Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Otto Township

I normally don’t write reviews but thought the Rixford Well experience should be mentioned.

Our motorcycle/camping group from Ohio stopped in to this place while touring in P.A.. We are firefighters, both active and retired. We attempt to always support local businesses during our travels.

The waitress/co-owner Sharon was very kind and generous providing us with some fresh baked soft pretzels and cheese dip on the house.

The service was excellent. Drinks and beers were served immediately to cool us down. The salads were brought out first followed by our meals.

The special that day was wings. Im a fan of wings and ordered a dozen. They were plump, juicy and cooked perfectly. Their homemade sauce ( unable to remember name) was delicious. The blue cheese dip was homemade. Note, she added some extra wings to share with my friends. The other guys all enjoyed their food as well.

This is a local establishment off the beaten path. Our group voted it as our favorite stop for food during this five day trip.

We got their beer battered fish fry w/4 HUGE delicious shrimp, and it was the best fish fry we've had in a long time!! The piece of fish hung over on both sides of the plate! The side salad I got with it had so much more in it, like tom., chick peas, radish, cheese...more than any side salads I've ever had with a meal! The prices were very reasonable, in a time when prices are going up with the economy! The waitress was excellent! It was very busy, but nice and welcoming. The food came out fast, hot and delicious 😋 can't ask for more than that! Great job...

Being from Buffalo, we're very critical of wings and blue cheese. Let me just say that these are some of the best wings my husband and I have ever had!! On top of that, everything we ate was exceptional and the beer was ice cold. We also chatted with Sharon at the bar who was awesome. We will definitely be back to Rixford and the Well too.
