Oscar Brown's Tavern — Restaurant in Ovid Township

Oscar Browns Tavern is located in the clubhouse of the Bella Vista golf course. We were in the area and wanted somewhere close by. This place popped up on maps. I wasn't sure, being on the golf course but it wasn't bad. It wasn't crowded on a Saturday afternoon and we sat at the bar. We were greeted by Henry the dog. They have half a dozen beers on tap, some of them local craft beers. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and my wife had the prime rib sandwich. Both came with steak fries. My burger was huge and the steak fries were plentiful and crispy. My wifes sandwich was huge as well. She liked it but wanted more cheese and less bread. The Christmas Dinner party that was hosted here by the company I work for was great. Thanks to everyone who attended and set up the event. The area was spacious and well lit. I’d like to give a special thanks to the staff who catered the food and beverages. Chad did an amazing job along with Tyler, who fixed up our delicious drinks. Both and several other workers were back and forth keeping up with everything from pre bussing to serving the tasty food. I don't even know where to begin, the vibe and the atmosphere in the restaurant is really nice and calming, and staff are very kind and welcoming, the menu selection is great, I ordered the 12-in buffalo chicken sub, absolutely delicious, the sandwich is bigger than my career, the taste is better than ANY buffalo chicken sub I've ever tasted and at a affordable price!
