Schakey's — Restaurant in Oxford Junction

I was there this last October with a buddy who grew up there.. Said he wanted to take me to dinner at a local place, a place he'd been patronizing for years. Now, Oxford Junction is a small town, work now much going on in town... except for this place..I was surprisingly surprised with their pork chops. Im a pork chop guy n these were the best I've ever had...also a baked potato that was out of the world..

The plate came with two nice size chops, baked potato,salad n ice tea.. Great food n the service was also great.. The price want bad either...10-11 bucks.. I asked our waitress/owner what the secret to the chops was n she said, "straight off the pig this morning... Can't beat...

This is a unique dining experience. Make a reservation or call ahead. Not for someone with a strict schedule. We enjoyed the time with conversation and taking in the small...

We had the steak for 2 it was very good tender. You're going to look long and hard for another place like with the old general store feel. Keep up the good work...
