Bourbon Mill — Restaurant in Oxford Township

Went there for birthday dinner. First time there. Couldn't find handicapped parking, so I had to be dropped off at the door. We got inside, waited to be seated. Hostess came and got us seated. 10 minutes later the hostess came and asked what we wanted to drink. Ordered drinks. Didn't get drinks for 30 minutes. Then asked if we were ready to order because apparently kitchen was getting backed up. So we ordered appetizers and 2 entrees. An hour later, got our appetizers. Gator bites, crab pretzel. They were good. Another hour and still no entrees. Flagged another waitress to find out where our entrees are. The hostess then came back and brought entrees out. Ribs, and salmon with rice. Ribs were on point. But had to have salmon, rice back because salmon was cold, and rice was undercooked. Said they will make a new one. 45 minutes go by, and we went to find our hostess/waitress. We told her forget the salmon, we're ready to leave. She said I will take it off for you. She came back with the salmon in a to go container and said here just take it anywhere we would just throw it out. So we did. She went to get the bill, and brought a piece of cheesecake on the house for my bday and never even got chance to eat my entrees. I had open heart surgery and im not waiting hours for entrees. Went to Bourban Mill on Sat Night 8/16 at 8:30 pm. We haven’t been here in over 2 years. There was plenty of seating outside and a band playing. Sitting outside was nice but the band playing was EXTREMELY loud. Right away we got drinks from the small waitress with glasses that was tending the bar but after that nobody came back to our table.

We sat there for 20 min waiting until I finally asked a waitress that was helping another table if somebody was going to take our order. She went back to the bar to converse with the other people up there and nobody seemed to know who wanted to take our table including the one who initially got our drinks.

Ashleigh ended up taking our order. Nobody came to ask us about refills until our appetizers came (I had to ask for refills) and it took a long time to get our food. We had to go to the bar to ask for additional drinks. The cream of crab soup was great, wraps and fries were not warm but we were all extremely hungry so we just ate it. Ashleigh was very nice and we did tip her very well (we really appreciated her taking car of us) but over all the service from everyone working was not great. From the start nobody seemed to care that we were there. I served for a very long time and know how busy it can get and the importance of teamwork. I really didn’t see this from anybody tonight.

Wings are always amazing here, however after our last experience I can't say we plan to ever dine in again. Every time we go we do expect to wait as we've had experiences with slow service ever since first coming here. During our last visit for two dozen wings, a Philly cheese steak, and the steak we had waited a full half hour for our food. When it came out the steak was almost completely rare with no seasoning on it, the Philly cheese steak that we were worried would be too much with the three cheeses but it had actually next to no cheese. The only enjoyable thing about the experience was the wings and ranch. In regards to our service, we were served by Treyvonne who truly seemed to completely just not care about our experience. They spoke extremely quietly, walked away from us before we could finish answering him about what else we needed, and just walked away immediately after bringing out our steak for a second time. Overall they just seemed completely disinterested in making our experience worth it and seemed very use to returning food. I was extremely taken aback that his response to us at the end of our experience when we told him about our food was "I'm not sure it's two girls back there".Going forward and only because we've been long time customers for the wings, I'll only be placing take out...
