I went there tonight 12/06/24 to eat with my wife and son. After we had our food I was given the check and I thought 69.41 was a little much for two adults and a child so I took the check up to the register to have it broken down for me since it was a hand written check and I couldn’t understand it. An older woman came to the register, who was not my waiter, and I asked her to break it down for me. She started doing that and after she said a few things I asked a question about it and she said wait, wait in a very aggressive manner and I let it go the first time. She continued to go down the check and when she was almost done I asked another question and she said, again in an aggressive manner, I said to wait and I said you don’t have to be rude about it I just needed you to explain this to me. So she finished and walked off and my waiter had made it to the cash register at that time. He asked me if I needed help and I just told him I needed someone to break down the check because I thought it was a little much. He said you ordered it and nothing is free and you have to pay. I told him I never said I wouldn’t pay but I needed someone to explain the check to me. He said again nothing is free and I need to pay and if I don’t like it I do t have to come back and he doesn’t care. I told him I damn sure wouldn’t be coming back with how rude him and the other woman were. He ran my card crumpled up my receipt and walked away before I even filled out the tip or total. I will say this I will never go back...
Read moreI was buying a new truck and asked where a good restaurant was as I had never been in Ozark. The salespeople recommended Aguava, and we are so glad they did. It's a small but homey restaurant and the food was amazing. I had their burrito supreme, and my friend had their chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. The burrito was delicious and very flavorful, and their guacamole was homemade. The chips were warm, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. My friend said the enchiladas were like none she had ever tasted, but one was chicken, and one was beef. She doesn't usually like beef, but she said the beef was actually really good, and the meat didn't have a weird taste like the Mexican restaurants have. I've never known what that meant, but I'm glad she enjoyed it. She did say later that the beans gave her so extreme gas. I told her that's real beans from a real can. I dont know if that's true or not. We laughed. But none the less it was an excellent dining experience with excellent food. The service was fast, the food was hot, and we never had to wait for refills or...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant. The ambience was nice but service immediately decline for my husband and I when we got our table. The waitress was overly attentive and only gave us a few seconds to decide on our meals even when we asked for longer. We waited until our meals came out before we received the margaritas we ordered. I personally love margaritas but these tasted watered down, so bad that we couldn’t even drink them. I ordered the vegetarian quesadilla and it arrived with grilled chicken on top. When I notified the waitress of the mess up she took it back for about two seconds and the kitchen staff just picked around in my quesadilla to remove the chicken. I know they didn’t recook it because I was still finding smaller pieces of chicken mixed in with my veggies. I was very grossed out as someone who doesn’t eat meat or enjoy people picking around in my food. All in all a terrible experience because I couldn’t drink my drink or eat my food and it ended up being $70 just for the two of us not including the tip. Will not...
