There are places where you can get pizza, and then there are places where you go to enjoy Pizza. Godfather’s Pizza in Ozark is one of the latter. This is not some generic chain restaurant that churns out bland, soggy pies with processed cheese and canned toppings. This is a place where pizza is an art form, a passion, a religion. This is where you can find pizzas that are loaded with fresh, quality ingredients, baked to perfection in a fiery oven, and served with pride and care. This is where you can customize your pizza with a variety of sauces, cheeses, and toppings, or go for one of their signature creations, like the meaty classic or the fiery taco. This is where you can pair your pizza with a crisp salad from their salad bar, or a cold drink from their fountain or cooler. This is where you can eat in, take out, or get delivery, whatever suits your fancy.
My wife and I are regulars here. We’ve been coming here for years, and we never get bored of it. The place is spacious and cozy, with plenty of tables and booths, and a warm ambiance. The staff is friendly and efficient, always ready to greet and serve us. We usually order a large combo pizza, with all the toppings. It’s a feast for the senses: the smell of the cheese and the meat, the sight of the golden crust and the red sauce, the sound of the crunch and the sizzle, the taste of the savory and the spicy, the feel of the hot and the soft. Sometimes we’ll also grab some wings or breadsticks to go along with it. The wings are succulent and flavorful, with a choice of sauces from mild to hot. The breadsticks are fluffy and buttery, with a hint of garlic and parmesan.
We always leave Godfather’s Pizza feeling full and happy. It’s our favorite spot for a casual date night or a family outing. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza and wants to experience something different from the usual fare. Godfather’s Pizza is not just pizza. It’s Pizza. And you, well...
Read moreHadn't eaten at Godfathers in over 30 yrs. I was in high school 2nd they closed the one in Rolla , Mo. Have been craving it and looking for one here and there on trips over the years with no luck. I wo I'll hear of one 40 mi. away and when I was finally in the town it wasn't there anymore. Another time I googled it in Lebanon Mo. and when I got to the adress It Was a Gas Station. So I went inside and there was a carousel with slices of horrible looking pizza and the whole store smelled terribly so I didn't even try to eat any and left so dissapointed. Today we spotted the billboard in Ozark Mo and I made my husband get off the I-state to find it. The store looked great and worker was friendly and helpful. I got the super taco pizza and the 2nd was 4.99, it was peooeroni. We got back on the I-state and they smelled awesome so we started eatin them out of the box, and we both pigged out so hard! They were DELISH!!!! So happy and so satisfied we almost had to stop for a nap!! I definitely will recommend Godfathers...
Read moreBuffet is good. Pizza is good. Your mileage may vary. For example, the Hawaiian was not great. I wasn't feeling the ham. The pineapple clashed with everything. I am not sure I can describe it accurately. It wasn't bad, just not for me.
The sausage and hamburger game was tight. They have the crust game down too.
The desert pies are good. Better than some places and they have both apple and cherry instead of just one or the other!
The thin crust is definitely one of the better ones. Reminds me of the dominoes where it is more a cracker. I love that type of thin crust. The regular crust appears close to a deep dish but not exactly. It is good so no complaints.
I feel like I should give an additional star with how often I try the Buffet. I would rather go here than some other pizza chains. The price is definitely...
