Place is located at truck stop however not easy to find because outside it is labeled everything except Punjabi food. The menu has a name & phone number that doesn't match the name & phone number on the banners inside the restaurant. There is absolutely NO DECOR that would remind you that you are in an Indian restaurant! Service: The Indian male cashier/waiter & Indian female cook has their 2 kids less than 6yo sitting at table in restaurant playing loud videos on their cell phones, & throwing their toy cars on the floor. The cashier/waiter let us know we can seat ourselves but took 8mins to come to our table with a menu, only gave us 1 menu for 2 people. There were only 2 other tables with people in entire place. The male cashier/waiter went to one table with 3 Indian/Pakistanis customers 4 times before bringing us a menu. He seated and brought food out to 2 new Indian customers before bringing us (non-Indians) a menu.

Food: We love Indian food and have been to places all over the US. This food was not good. First we wanted to order lamb curry and saag...male cashier/waiter told us "no we don't have but you can order goat, it tastes the same". Lamb & Goat ABSOLUTELY DO NOT TASTE THE SAME!! I was appalled by his statement and I eat goat regularly to know what each tastes like. It was insulting for him to say that, although I'm not Indian I am an ethnic minority and know better! He never asked for our spice level after taking our order. First ordered appetizers vege samosa & roti then entrees. All the food came out together except the samosa. The food had no spice & no flavor we were very disappointed. We asked about the samosa he said its coming, he brought out plastic tupperware "with samosa in it". We ate then 8mins later he asked do you want the samosa maybe b/c we didn't open it. We replied yes, then opened the samosa to notice white cream, onions, chickpeas on top of it. I've never had this on my vege samosa. Got the bill & noticed samosa chaat on bill which costed $3 more. We made him aware we ordered vege samosa he tried to say i told you I gave you the wrong order & do you want it? After a quick rebuttal he changed bill to orig order.

I would not recommend this place! Travel further for authentic...

What a find today! I was rolling down I-10, stomach rumbling like a semi-truck, just looking for something decent to eat — and boom, spotted this little joint. The reviews looked solid, so I thought, “Alright, let’s roll the dice.”

And guess what? Total win.

I ordered the Dal Makhni and Tawa Roti — both were on point. The dal was rich and flavorful, and the roti was fresh off the tawa, soft with that perfect slight crisp. Bonus: the food came out fast. Like, suspiciously fast. Either they have kitchen ninjas or my hungry face triggered emergency service.

Now, let’s be clear — don’t go expecting chandeliers and Instagram-worthy plating. This place isn’t about frills. It’s about authentic, no-nonsense food that hits the spot.

It’s a small, humble setup, clearly run by a tight-knit team. You’ll likely spot truck drivers fueling up on real comfort food — and that’s when you know the food is legit. As the name suggests, this is a true-blue Dhaba — simple, rustic, and all about the flavor.

If you’re near I-10 and craving the real deal, skip the chains and pull in here. Your taste buds...

Indian food? What happened? This used to be a nice place to eat. I worked in this restaurant when I was a teenager many years ago. We served some of the best American food. I was excited to stop by but not now. This place was iconic. Now it's just another run-of-the-mill Indian owned establishment. No offense to the new owners or those who enjoy this kind of food. It's just disappointing to see something so nostalgic turn into something so boring and basic.

Edit: When I called to discuss the reply to my review which read "Did u have any slips transaction prof in my knowledge u ask us use restroom now u put fake reviews," the person who answered hung up on me before I was able to discuss anything with him. As a property manager myself, I am absolutely appalled. I can tell the service here is subpar. I hope someone steps in and is able to save this place before it's run completely...

This is a new place. When I visited, it was about and week and half after they’d opened. The food is amazing. It’s new so things are being organized and service does take a bit of time. But who cares, the food is so good. It’s well worth the wait. Probably the best Dhaba we’ve eaten at on our road trip. Definitely give this place a try.

We ordered two pronthas and one bread .. it’s nasty every thing is over cooked … no soap in the restroom … the people working over there have no experience they don’t know how talk with the customer.. it’s waste of money and time .. better you go sub way or Burger King save your money and time. So be careful
