WORST.....PIZZA....EVER!!!!!
How do you screw up a pizza? It's a pretty simple concept, has been around for a long time, and most are doing it with average to excellent results. But not Pizza Hut!
Yuck! Ordered the large thin crust with extra pepperoni, sausage, extra cheese, onions. Holy crap, I have never had such a terrible pizza....let me rephrase that. I've never paid for such a terrible pizza. I've had free cardboard pizza that was better than this. I can get a $1.00 tony's pizza at dollar tree, add a few toppings and have a better pizza.
Simply GROSS! The crust was old, frozen, stale, tastless....like an old stale saltine, without the salt, that was left in the sun for a week or so. The nasty sauce was canned, tasted like a combination of metal, sugar, and kecthup. Nasty! If this was double cheese, they must use, approximately 8 individual shreds of cheese per pizza, as there were approximately 16 individual shreds of cheese on the entire pizza. I'd say an 1/8th of a cup total, including the ...ahem...''extra" Cheese. Oh, and they add $2.00 for extra cheese. That takes guts. Pepperoni? eh...kinda hard to screw that up, but it surprises me that they didn't. Sausage...yuck, the same little round balls of processed meat that you get on a $1 Tony's pizza. Onions? yeah there were a couple.
I enjoy leftover pizza, and always look forward to having a slice for lunch the next day. I threw out the entire pizza last night after one slice.
So I'll add Pizza Hut to a growing list of restaurants that I refuse to conduct transactions with, due to a lousy product and often,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell I tried. I haven't gone to a Pizza Hut in almost a decade, as I felt the products had taken a big down turn towards made in the cheap. However, their new Tavern style pizza seemed worthy of a try. The reviews I have read have been positive, so I went and got a Tavern style Ultimate Tavern pizza with sausage, pepperoni, fire roasted peppers, grape tomatoes and parmesan-oregano seasoning. They claim it is their biggest topping transformation in over a decade. However, it isn't. Same small crumb sized toppings and wafer sliced pepperoni. The crust is a special thin crust, which, on my pie, was under baked and doughy. There was hardly any sauce but it was generously topped with the seasoning mix. Again it didn't look quite as nice as the.commercial or ads show. We ended up throwing over half the pie away, primarily due to the under baked crust. We also ordered the Cinnabon mini rolls which tasted like.thwy were baked potato earlier today and had warm icing drizzled over them. The ordering process was easy and the pizza was done and ready when I arrived. But that will not overweigh the taste test which means it will be at least another decade before I order...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis store doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I put it there only to say this was the worst service in years. They fired all their drivers and now use door dash to deliver. 1st they delivered our medium pizza bbq boneless wings and a side of marinara sauce. We ordered the pizza, lemon pepper wings, breadsticks, marinara and ranch dressing. The driver went back to get our lemon pepper wings and ranch dressing.. He comes back and just leaves the order at the door, never knocked. Only knew it was there because of the dogs. Well, we open up the bag to find more marinara sauce, no ranch again and we got bbq chicken wings again instead of our lemon pepper wings. We won't be using them again. This is even better!! Brittney the the 3rd door dash driver said she had a hard time finding the house and when she did she said she handed the order to my husband but she did not. She left it at the door without knocking. So it's about 10 minutes now that we called to complain and they still haven't come...
