Boulevard's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Palm Desert

This place is just ok. Not great, not wonderful.....just ok. Price are competitive to any place else. I've eaten here 3x with first time being Beef Short Ribs which were ok, 2nd time was the Fried Chicken Dinner on Monday with the fried chicken being quite good but the rest of the dinner.......no, tonite the Prime Rib which was not good at all and the baked potato was mostly uncooked.

Mixed drinks are Super expensive here and the 2x I've had a drink.....I kept wishing I could find the alcohol in them. Wine corkage fee is $8 which is, by far, a better deal than $13+ for a mixed drink (guess that's why you see so many wine bottles or so many people drinking beer/wine only).

Tried the Apple Pie which first time was delicious and 2nd time (the Fried Chicken Dinner night) the pie was absolutely Raw and tasted of garlic. Awful.

Don't think we'll go here for a while. Just too expensive, too mediocre. Service is pretty good, however. Wish I could actually...

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I’ve never had better food at a golf course bar/grill. The chefs do a fantastic job at giving you unbelievably tasty food and very quickly.

Believe it or not, these are two separate patty melts from different times I went. I enjoyed the food so much that we came back two weeks later to get it again.

The meat is juicy and flavorful, the cheese is perfectly melted, the caramelized onions are cooked just right, and they put a delicious thousand island sauce that adds another layer of flavor to the sandwich. Not to mention the perfectly buttered and toasted bread!

I look for reviews based on an experience over time. Too often reviews are one-offs from snobs who imagine the world was created to serve their special needs. Heaven itself would be unable to accommodate these people. My review is based on three individuals who have dined there over 300 times, and and we have never been disappointed. And if you are wondering we are quite familiar with 5 star restaurants. Boulevards over delivers. The presentation is beautiful and the service is impeccable.
