I don’t want to give a terrible review since this is a brand new place and I’m sure there are lots of things to iron out. I will say it’s a beautiful place but the vibe is pretty confusing. Huge TV’s and lots of them but seems like a contradiction when compared to fare and pricing etc. first off we came to sit at the bar and have a few cocktails and some apps to get a feel. The margarita and espresso martini were good. We wanted to order the coach’s signature old fashion but were told they were out of their house whiskey. When we asked if they were just going to replace that with another whiskey they said no and that it’s off the menu now but that we could try a premium Whiskey for a higher price. Very strange strategy imo. Took quite a while to get a salad and a side and we noticed a beer getting flat and warm waiting to be picked up for a table order next to us. We needed roll-ups/ utensils and there were none. The bartender had to leave and get them from the back. We would have prob ordered another round but it was a long time For the bartender to notice and come over so we just closed out. The other thing that was strange was how they sat people. When you checked in, you waited for a while then were sent to another small sitting table before your main table?? We wanted to just sit at the bar but were told it was people who had reservations who were taking up the seats there and we had to wait. The bbq ranch salad was good but the fries tasted and looked like frozen store bought. This is quite the contrast from the pricing and the vibe that’s trying to be established. If we return and things are better I will update my review as perhaps they were understaffed etc. oh one more thing- there is no beer list and no tap handles so you have to ask the server what’s available and they have to look it up. Also, there is no wine list at all. There is one wine option per wine category (1 Chardonnay, 1 cab etc) this was also strange for such an elaborate bar. No tequila list in spite of a glorious lineup which is my fave. Pricing would be nice so I don’t have to ask for each selection.

It's so nice to finally have another great fine dining option here in the Antelope Valley! We stopped in recently ano had an amazing experience from start to finish. Our table ordered the pickle chips, fried zucchini, pretzel, bread, mac & cheese, asparagus, cheesy potatoes, tomato soup, salmon, and seabass and every single dish was absolutely delicious. You could tell everything was made fresh and with care (the pickle chips were my personal favorite - crispy, tangy, and addictive) The drinks were also amazing, we ordered the Paper Plane, and it actually comes with a little show when it's served, which made the experience even more fun. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere had that perfect balance of upscale and relaxed.

Thurday 11-13 I went to coaches tavern for a birthday celebration with 8 people. We called the Sunday before to make the reservation. Come Thursday we called the restaurant to ask a question about the reservation just to find out when we called Sunday no one set the reservation. Good thing we called. Thursday we go and the place is really nice but kind of off because it’s trying to be upscale but the whole place is covered in sports memorabilia which I get but it’s clashing aesthetically. We were told there was a dress code but when we were eating groups of people were coming in wearing everything you’re not supposed to wear and they had certain staff walking around in casual clothes which is “against” their dress code but the waitresses in a uniform. If they’re going to go through the trouble of having a dress code it should be enforced because it could cause issues later. Our waitress was so so so nice. She was attentive and answered all the questions we had. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and drinks which were all very good expect for the tornado potato, it had absolutely no seasoning on it. They brought out complimentary champagne with the apps because we were celebrating a birthday which was so nice and unexpected. The dinner menu could definitely use some more variety it’s giving bar unless you want steak or seafood. A pasta would be nice to have on the menu. We got the tomato soup, steak, 2 of the chicken sandwiches that they offer , a burger, steak salad and the Birria blitz. Everything was good besides the burger and chicken sandwiches. We didn’t finish them because of how bland they were. Hopefully with time that changes. For the desserts we tried the chocolate cake, cheesecake and the butter cake. They were all good definitely would get all of them again. Over all I do think the tavern started off on a good note but has room to grow and improve It’s a very nice new establishment. Just some kinks to work out. Prices were mid range in my opinion and something to note is they add on 18% gratuity on parties 8 and over. Which wasn’t an issue just something to be aware of. Over all I...

I was hoping this place was going to live up to the hype they built up for themselves but oh was I wrong. We came in hoping for a nice dinner and a chance to talk, but the tables were so close together it was almost impossible to have a private conversation, I mean the tables are so close your basically in the conversation of the table next to you. The dress code went out the door real quick when they let in a guy and his girl in while wearing gym clothes. So much for "elevated dining" haha. Which elevated dining is a far stretch looking at the menu. Its so unoriginal, it's the same menu from the regular coaches sports bar with an added "elevated dining" upcharge. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the worst I’ve had — no bitters, no cherry, and it tasted like watered-down cheap bourbon. We then ordered the fried zucchini which was overcooked and mushy. I wish I could have ordered food but the waitress was no where to be found. We sat there for almost 20 to 30 minutes before we saw her again. By this time I was already over this place so I paid for the bad drinks and appetizer and left for a much better experience at The Third Place. Overall, the experience does not match the prices, not even close or the atmosphere they’re trying to go for. You would think it being their first weekend open they would be on their A game. How bout you stick to...
