I highly recommend any new customer to order tacos al pastor. They are absolutely delicious!!!!! We came in as first time customers and we were nicely greeted by the woman at the register. She gave us a little bit of the history of the location and let us know that there is another location near Doublz/Ihop that we can also visit. She also told us that they are looking into buying a location in West Palmdale (which would be a lot closer to me.) Aside from all that, guys make sure to have cash in hand, as this is a cash only establishment. And most importantly there is plenty of parking. I ordered the huevo con chorizo bestiary player with coffee and flour tortillas. My bf ordered a carne asada burrito and some coffee. As we waited (probably about 20 minutes ) we struck up a conversation with the lady at the register, and aside from the info I stated on top, she gave us two free tacos al pastor. Since it was obvious it way out first time being there. And I'm glad that she did because aside from the great friendlyservice, I will most definitely be coming back for those tacos.    Read moreVery disappointed with too many good reviews of 5 stars on fb we went there after just geting moved from Long Beach and expected to be wowed. The Horchata, the lady claimed it was home made, was not, and tasted chemically. That orange soda tasted even worst. The menudo was off putting according to my wife, at first taste, the broth was tasteless, and the deal was the ofal smell from the menudo was a bit strong. There were flies in the dining area, and they were landing on the cart containing the condiments, onions, cilantro, salsas. The chicken burrito so bad I was so hungry so I ate it, but would not come back again or feed it to a dog. We sure bope we don't get sick. This place is low class, the picture of the place was so much better than the actual. There is no air conditioner and fans at 102 degree was not sufficient and just unbearable. They are not cheap either. One a la cart medium menudo was $9.50 and chicken burrito was $6.50 and it was medium size, one tiny carnitas taco was $3.50 and the carnitas so mushy as opposed to crispy outside and soft inside, and had no flavor. We will not...
Read moreMy wife and I moved to the antelope valley. We went to the swap meet near by and we wanted menudo. We saw the high reviews here and came down. We walked in and said "cash only" - we had to drive back into town for an ATM. My is adamant in trying the food.
It's a small place and dusty, I did my best to hold my sneeze. The menudo came out, we asked for no "pata" when we placed our order (large for 13.99). The lady put the bowls on the table, and fished out the patas with the spoons. So now we have "less" menudo, might as well gave us our money for a small bowl. I kind of lost my appetite. I did order one taco of carnitas, $2.50, it was tiny.
My wife wants to give them another try, out of sympathy, because they were older ladies.
I am not looking forward to come back, again, my wife wants to...
