Some of the worst food I've ever had, only 3 couples were seated when we arrived yet they still said it was a 15 min wait. The hostess then gave my wife attitude because we asked to be seated outside, we waited the 15 minutes to be seated then the hostess that gave us attitude sat us inside so we said whatever. It then took another 10-15 minutes before anybody came to are table, we then placed are order for are food and drinks. The waitress came with my wife's salad only and forgot my soup plus both are drinks for another 20min. My wife and I said how is this going so bad, I asked did they have good reviews? Are food came out and when the waitress placed the plate in front of me I instantly told my wife the food is rotten. I eat a lot of seafood so I'm not someone who would say something is bad just because I didn't like the flavor or whatnot this seafood tasted and smelled rotten the instant I was served it. My wife said when I order seafood she usually thinks it smells good and has worked in the restaurant business for years and also said the food smelled terrible and she believed it may be rotten as well. My wife was also disappointed with her simple order of chicken fingers as it looked like whoever was running the fryer overloads it and was not taught to shake the basket to ensure everything is evenly cooked. This was a waste of money and just extra disappointing to have this experience for my birthday dinner. Edited 9/13/22: Thank you to the owner for responding directly to my review. The owners response is very well appreciated by the community as it shows the public how unprofessional this establishment is. If anybody reads this review take your time to look for other bad reviews with the owners response and you will find the owner is rude and unprofessional without hesitation. The owner states to have video upon request which is Great because everyone knows nobody would actually request video of a random review and they know that so easy to say. The owner plays games saying we ate most of are food lol watch the video, they also say we arrived late lol so I'll again say watch your own video kid like dam your dumb. Russo's closes at 9:30 but apparently the pretend owner considers 7 near close and states they sent home staff what a joke. This shouldn't be any issue though sense I guarantee if someone really requested the hour long proof video lol and the joke of a pretend owner managed to pull themselves together for 1 minute to provide it you would find my experience...

They had prime rib on their menu at a reasonable price, so we decided to give it a try, but when the meals came to the table, we were very disappointed. Though the presentation wasn't terrible, our food was served on the colder side (luke warm at best) and the steak was definitely not prime rib! I have ordered prime rib in other restaurants, also had it at home & this was simply the poorest excuse for prime rib I have ever had from any dining establishment. A very fatty, chewy, undercooked piece of meat, that fell apart (not in a good way) when I tried to get a bite onto my fork, more like cheap quality pot roast. Very disappointing. I did complain about the temperature of the meal, but by the time the waitress had finally returned to our table, it had already been quite some time, so I wasn't about to complain even more about the poor taste/quality of the dish. I didn't want to be rude, seeing as they were a brand new restaurant, but I was so appalled at the negative experience that I haven't been back since. I do believe in second chances...however, when the service is poor, the food is served cold + the taste isn't good at all, I see no reason to return. I have noticed positive reviews, so I'm hoping they turned out alright, but in the beginning, it was more or less a waste of our time & money. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend Russo's, although to be fair, this was a one time experience. Update: In response to the owners comments, yes it (prime rib) certainly was on your menu on special & no it definitely wasn't 10 years ago! I'm surprised you would debate that, seeing as you just received a negative review. Also contradicted yourself by saying you don't have prime rib on your menu, but you do have it on special. Either way, it was served at your restaurant & I was not impressed & I've dined at many area restaurants. Best of luck, you'll need it if nothing has changed since our visit! Ā Ā Ā Read moreFrank Krol I was very dissapointed by my experience to by my visit tonight Monday July 6.I traveled from Chicopee and we went inside and sat down waiting for the waitress to come and take our order ..and even though you have a sign at the counter that stated EVERYONE has to wear a mask inside until they are seated..I don't know why you have that sign,your employees do not enforce it...In the 10 minutes that i was waiting to get waited on...1 lady that was seated with her husband and kid got up from her seat with out a mask and walked past us to take picture of your menus on the wall and stood there for a couple of minutes......then i saw a lady come out of the kitchen for a minute or two and did not have a mask on either....then a few minutes later ,the waitress that waited on us looked to the entrance and told 2 young men that were friends of her to come in and neither one had masks on..and they walked in and stood around in front of the counter for a few minutes without masks on...so by then, i had enough of this and told the waitress to cancel my order. I did not like what i was seeing going on in there....Why put signs up saying one thing and then you practice ,just the opposite ??..The waitress should have known better than to tell them to come inside without masks on....it makes me wonder what else might be happening outside of customers views ....so sorry to say i wasted time hoping to enjoy some fried clams and instead left empty handed with a bad taste in my mouth from your...
