Tables at the Farm — Restaurant in Palmer

Sunday morning breakfast. There's a wait to be seated at 10 am. We have 4 people in our group. People go in 5 mins before us to sit at the counter. We get seated and place our order at 10:15. One omelet with tater tots and toast One quiche with tater tots and fruit cup. 2 stuffed French toast with apple cinnamon mix in the middle. We're all drinking water. At 10:45 we're wondering where our food is. We ask the waitress, and she says another 5 to 10 minutes. We see the people at the counter getting their food. We see people who are seated after us getting their food. It's now 11 am. We get up to leave, and when we tell the waitress that the wait has been too long and we're going to leave, she says okay. No apology. Nothing.

Then our food comes out. We sit back down.

The omelet is hot. The quiche is room temperature. (Previously made to be reheated) The apples in the stuffed French toast are refrigerator cold. I ask about the apples being cold, our waitress doesn't care. Another waitress, who delivered our food, takes back both plates and delivers fresh plates of food with hot apples. She apologized for the cold food.

Our waitress never apologized for anything that happened that morning.

We didn't even get a discount for the crummy food or service.

This was the worst visit. You have to go outside to get to the bathroom. We will never...

I will give three stars because the food was actually good and the service was friendly. Sadly food took like 50 minutes to come out. Staff your establishment or close until you do. Restaurant owners love complaining that they cant find help but they also dont wanna pay a living wage. Pay the cooks 20+ and hour based on experience and you can save yourself the trouble of people like me that sadly won’t return to this establishment. No breakfast is worth a 50 mins wait. On other notes, the child cooking with long hair and not tied or in a hair net, we found a hair in our food and that’s when we decided to request to go boxes and leave. Hungry for breakfast and want the best breakfast of your life? I have a recommendation for you: come here! I honestly didn't know a simple fried egg could taste that good. I got eggs, homefries, sourdough toast, sausage and bacon, and my wife got eggs and the special pancakes. The pancakes were huuuuge and the perfect mix of hearty and sweet. The buttered toast dipped into the yolk was next level.

The decor was lovely, the service was impeccable, and the food was the best breakfast I've had in...ever? Yeah, might be.
