First I wanna say the food was really yummy, the reviews were good and the prices were decent. I was really excited, however I was very disappointed with the service. We got there at 6:40 and were promptly seated. After that we felt like we were on our own. We waited for a solid 30 minutes before we decided maybe we were supposed to order at the bar. We got drinks and asked the bar tender if we’re supposed to order food there? She said oh no your waitress will be over soon and explained she didn’t know we were one of her tables. We order an appetizer and three entrees and an hour after we’ve been seated we finally get out food. Unfortunately my fish and chips were lukewarm warm at best and the fish was even still cold in some parts so the waitress took it back to be reheated. 20 minutes later we receive most of the refried fish minus the quarter I had pulled off earlier. Half of what we got back had been refried to fish jerky. I’m a little bummed because the parts or the fish that were hot and thick were really good so it definitely had potential. We also had to have the appetizer we ordered removed from the check as that had never shown up. Overall I’m just disappointed with the lack of concern for our experience or initiative from the staff. We made eye contact with both waitresses a couple of times before we assumed we were supposed to order at the bar.    Read moreI usually don’t write reviews. This is actually my first one ever but after multiple bad experiences, I feel like I have to say something. There’s a server at this restaurant named Maria who has consistently made every visit uncomfortable. I’ve had her more than once, and every time, she’s been rude, dismissive, and completely inattentive. She barely checks on the table, never smiles, and seems like she doesn’t want to be there at all.
What pushed me to finally write this is not just how she treats guests, but what I’ve heard her say, loud enough for other tables to hear. One time, I overheard her talking to another table, saying something like, “If that girl tells me what to do one more time, I’ll walk out.” It was shocking and unprofessional, especially in front of customers.
She’s also made snide remarks about other staff within earshot, which just adds to the uncomfortable atmosphere. I don’t like complaining, and I’ve let this slide more than once, but at this point, I just don’t want to come back if she’s working. Management seriously needs to address this, because it reflects poorly on the whole...
   Read moreThe best of everything! My husband & I were regular customers three days a week since Foggys grand opening. We got to know the owner as well as the staff. Maria has always been our waitress, and has been recommended to our friends. Her service has always been a pleasure, and her personality is refreshing and attentive. Since my husband passed, I still make my regular visits and enjoy my meals. However, since the change of management, I notice a very different atmosphere…the bartender (Taz) continues to be rude and overbearing. The pub has become “family affair, with managements family employed and favoritism that is clearly seen ever time I’m there. I see & hear the gossip from not just one waitress! Foggy’s to me is still the best food in town and the owners are wonderful. I only hope that they see what’s happening behind the curtain and get honest and respectable management like Foggy’s...
