The Nook Cafe & Bakery — Restaurant in Pandora Township

I always try to support local businesses and my mother told me of this breakfast buffet from 10a-2p for $10. So we went. It was $10 for one plate or $14 for all you can eat. She got the former while I got the latter. The food was decent at best with just the remnants of bacon that used to be there I had to tilt the cooler to get a full glass of juice. We arrived around 1:30 and paid full price yet everything had been sitting in the open with no lids and the food warmers seemed to be off because everything but the fruit was cold. Most tables were dirty, we were the only customers there, and no one asked how it was or said anything except when I paid. The ambiance is nice but lack of any interaction and dirty tables tells me they don't appreciate much from people that give them money. This was my first time here and as for a food experience, it was pretty sad. I guess in all fairness, I got food one time from Starbucks and that was the only time and I've spent $1000's at Starbucks. So maybe this place has good coffee. My suggestion to the owners... Well, this place is beautiful. It is such a nice thing for the Pandora community. High school and college students now have somewhere to go in town to socialize or write papers and do homework, people can get together to visit, and there’s an adorable play kitchen for kids. There is a rocker and a glider, which I complimented the owner about because I thought it was a nice touch for mothers. She said they are original pieces from the Hilty home, and I thought that was so special. Each coffee shop seems to have its own vibe, and I feel this place is calming, a nice place to be productive, and kid friendly. I loved the piano and the games they had for customers to play.

Great little coffee shop. Nice interior with lots of different seating. I made the mistake of ordering a latte flight not knowing Expresso goes in it and the machine was broken so I just got milk.

I highly recommend the cinnamon rolls but don't recommend the latte flight. the cinnamon roll does get warmed up and has so much melty cream cheese. As for the lattes; Disregard the lack of Expresso. They simply just didn't have much flavor. Didn't taste anything but milk with the French Toast, S'mores just tasted like chocolate milk, I had to double check I picked up the caramel one because it also tasted like milk, and the raspberry one was the only one that tasted different but still just a hint of raspberry flavor.
