Had a terrible experience here yesterday, 8/31/2024… my boyfriend was so excited to take me here, we drove two hours to get there. Subpar food, chaotic environment and bad service was the result. We got there at 2, placed our order and had to tip before we got served which is always a toss-up. We went to the bar to get our drinks and had to tell the bartender what we ordered even though there was a computer that should have told them. We got a buzzer to let us know when our food was ready, but after forty minutes and others getting their food before us who had gotten there after us, we went up to ask if there was something wrong. “Your order is coming out next” but after five more people getting their order next, that clearly wasn’t the case. After an hour we finally got our food (our buzzer never vibrated, they just called out the name and placed the food on the counter.) I believe they gave out someone else our food but never admitted to that, if they had just admitted to making a mistake we would not have been as disappointed as we are with this establishment. There was no explanation or apology to our extremely long wait. We saw a man get there and get his food within ten minutes. “It depends what you get” was what we were told. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich which tasted like it was freezer burnt and just plopped on the sandwich with bbq sauce sprayed on, and my boyfriend got a cold sandwich, so I’m not sure what could have taken a whole hour. The atmosphere was chaotic, kids approaching my dogs without their parents, swinging on the swings without supervision and falling off (there’s a sign that says if you die it’s not their fault so keep that in mind!) and multiple unleashed dogs wandering around also approaching everyone trying to eat. There was no live music on the stage on Labor Day weekend but there was a DJ blasting terrible sounding EDM music from a nearby field which was loud, awful and off putting . And I love EDM. If they had admitted to giving our food to someone else and maybe comping something, we would have been happier but there was no explanation or apology whatsoever. We were going to buy a six pack of their seltzer but didn’t want to give them any more money so we just left. After, we went to Qutori Winery up the road which was much better service, food and a lovely atmosphere and somewhere I would have much rather gone and spent money had I known what a crapshow this place was. Truly a chaotic mess, bad food, and a racket that you have to tip before you even know how the service will be....

Read moreEverything about this orchard camping experience was darling and dreamy. We barely knew what we were signing up for since our booking was last minute and impulsive through HipCamp, but we couldn't have imagined a better experience for our family. The orchard was beautiful, productive and fully functional, full of fun people picking fruit and being cute during the day, and filled with charming details. There were tire swings, shady tables and benches, a slackline, a playground set for kiddos, and a really well thought out atmosphere. The staff was so kind and relaxed, effortless. We stayed in Peach Lane, which is intended for RVs and campers, but we just had a tent and our own car and were happy to have a picnic table and nice level ground under the peach trees to relax. So much to do, very relaxing, a peaceful experience in a wonderful place. Don't miss the fresh u-pick produce they sell from their orchard and garden, obviously. And if something you hoped to eat isn't ripe and in season, the Farm Runners shop down the hill is a world class farm stand style grocery store selling hyper-local produce and predominantly Colorado made products. Couldn't recommend this orchard experience more highly. Ps. Make sure to leave room in your cooler for a sixer of their hard ciders. And they also make adulty cider slushies. The only downside is the summer heat and the lack of shade in the campsite area we chose, but if you get an early start to the day (unlike we did with meandering toddlers) or if you stayed in a different site like in the orchards, you'd be golden. Loved this place and...
