Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with our service tonight, as well as with the server Tara. It is Valentine’s Day, my husband & I made plans this week to have dinner at one of our favorite places. We have been customers for years (6+) at this establishment. Not only was the waitress incredibly rude & unprofessional multiple times but we waited well over an hour for our food. After an hour our waitress notified us that our food would be out in a “few” minutes, she then immediately (3 minutes) told us they were now out of steaks. Seriously?! It was 8:00. We arrived at 6:30 and placed our order immediately as we knew they were busy. At 8:00 on Valentine’s night, we had no other option other than fast food. This is unacceptable service. We asked to speak to the owner, as we knew he was in the building because we had just seen him come thru the bar area….we were then shuffled off to the bartender who came to our table to apologize & offer another menu item. No ma’am. We asked for our check. Mark Berg (the owner) was there & we requested to speak to him, but apparently he couldn’t be bothered. Again, we could’ve gone anywhere else in Paris, but we CHOSE Blues Landing because we love the food & atmosphere. In hindsight I wish we would’ve chosen elsewhere for our Valentine’s date night. After the way Tara treated us tonite, I have never had anyone be so unprofessional and down right rude. Needless to say, we will never go back. Period. Our money spends just as well at other restaurants & Breakers Marina will be opening back up soon. Very disappointed in Mark Berg for not coming to speak with us after we specifically requested to...

After stumbling across Blue’s Landing on Google my wife and I decided to give them a try one date night. I have always enjoyed good Cajun food and she has always wanted to try REAL Cajun food. The wait time at the door was less than we expected at 5pm on a Saturday with no reservation for a party of 2. We were seated extremely quickly in a comfortable and roomy booth just across from the Bar. We had a great view of the Decorations throughout the restaurant, the tv’s, and at the time didn’t know it but a stage with a Live Band that would preform later that evening. The regulars at the bar heard us telling the waitress we needed a bit of time to order as it was our first time and gave us a few recommendations to try drink and food wise. Drinks were served cold and never ran out. We ordered Gator tail Bites with the house sauce, Boudin Balls (pork), and Potato skins, and they came out Hot and Fresh like I use to get them in Louisiana. Wife’s Steak and Loaded Baked Potato and Veggies were fresh and perfectly cooked. I had the Grilled Cajun Chicken Breast smothered with Onions,Peppers,Mushrooms and Mozzarella Cheese over Dirty Rice with Fried Sweet Corn and Squash with a small side salad and it was worth every Penny. The tab for it all and Dessert with the Live Band Cover was less than $100. We had an amazing experience and definitely plan to go back many more times when we are in the area or for future date nights. Highly Highly recommended from the front door Hostesses, Waiters and Waitresses, Cooks, Bartenders and even the regular customers!!! Best Service we’ve had...

Alright, let me start by saying I usually don't bother leaving reviews. I was originally going to rate 3 stars (average) to be nice, that's when I realized I was charged more than authorized. Not by much, but it's the principle. I guess they didn't like my small tip and charged what they thought was fair with my card. It was a busy saturday night, and I've worked in the restaurant industry so I'm cutting some slack on the 30 minutes we waited to be seated. We were brought menus, then later when approached had to specifically ask for a alcoholic beverage menu...at a bar, at 10:00pm. Whatever right? No big deal. A substantial wait later our drinks were brought out as well as our appetizer. 13$ for a hand-full, I mean an insultingly small portion of alligator tails. I understand it's a bar, and with a bar comes bar prices, but do better. We got maybe a half dozen thumb sized bites...for 13 dollars. My fiance and I decided to share a 5 catfish "platter". When the food came out we were never offered silverware. Whatever, we had been drinking so we decided to pick at it like fingerfood and gtfo. Our drinks went empty twice and we were checked once. We got our check, I rounded the bill up, and we left. Couple days later I check my bank, turns out they also "rounded" up my charge. It's good thing I have my copy of the receipt. Live music was good, atmosphere was solid. Service and food was mediocre at best. We won't...

This was our fourth visit. Food has been fabulous previous trips. This trip, however, we were fairly disappointed. The hostess, upon arrival, was not welcoming nor friendly. Our waitress was friendly but would disappear for extended periods. When we did finally get our food, my steak and potato were lukewarm, and that's being generous. When I said something about it, I just asked her to throw it back on the grill a couple of minutes, she wanted to argue with me. My take on the situation, she left the food sitting during one of her extended absences. Other than that, the atmosphere was still upbeat and lively. Appetizer was great, we got the shrimp. Service and the food were a let down this visit but we all have our bad days. Still tipped generously, it was busy and regardless waitressing is hard work. Hoping next trip will be like our precious trips. Maybe we need to stick to weeknights rather than weekends. That's the only difference I can think of.

I recently moved from Washington state and stopped in for a late lunch. The staff was amazing, friendly, informative, and fun! I have been back for dinner and music at least 4 times in the past two weeks...I absolutely love it❤ The atmosphere is glorious!! I had the opportunity to meet the owner Mark and he was wonderful too!! They have incredible local music 🎶 shout out to Johnny Mac...so talented!! Staff shout outs go to Jessica, one of my top 3 bartenders ever, and I'm not young 😉 To Kirby, Regan, and Shelly...I know I'm forgetting some, sorry ladies ❤ And to top it off, I've got to meet some of the local folks who are warm, friendly, and fun...shout out here to Pansie, the dancing machine, just love this woman!! Thank you all, in my heart always ♥ ❤ ❤ Bless you all ❤

I carried my friend of 31 years to celebrate her birthday and definitely wanted to touch on some recommendations since it’s under new ownership. Congratulations by the way!The fried pickles were excellent, the Grilled Ribeye Melt With Au Jus was lacking in flavor so maybe punch it up a bit. What I really wanna touch on is the eclectic dust collected tchotchkes and the lack of attentive service. The only person that was attentive to us was a lady at the bar. She noticed our drinks were low and offered to get us more and even came around and offered us Mardi Gras Beads in celebration of the upcoming Fat Tuesday. She was engaging. Blues has always been a good time but I do feel that under new ownership that there are areas that could be improved to elevate the experience.
