I came to this donut shop this morning. What a cute shop, with art, decor and donuts. There are some seating options, but no tables. I got there and 7:30 am. My goal was to taste a few donuts and a cinnamon roll. The staff must have been having an off day, they were not pleasant to interact with and got admitted when I asked what the price was for a dozen donuts (donuts are individually priced $1.50-4.95/each… not sold by the dozen). The selection was limited at 7:30. No cinnamon rolls until at least 9 I was informed. No glazed were available, only basic cake donuts, a maple bar, old fashioned and hand pies. I tried everything that was available. Summary:

Old fashioned: was delicious, and much larger than most old fashioned you find. One of the best old fashioned I have had.

Maple bar: maple glaze with bacon was delicious, the raised donut had separated from the outside skin and the cavity was dripping with oil.

Cake donuts: the presentation was great, nice color glaze with sprinkles, the outside was crispy and inside was soft. They were very greasy, with the bottoms being oil soaked.

Hand pies: the lemon hand pie was ok. Outside was thick, but the lemon filling was sweet with minimal...

🌟 Five Stars – Absolute Carb Heaven! 🌟

If I could give this place six stars, I would. Let’s talk about the cinnamon rolls first — because WOW. These are not your average rolls. They’re massive, gooey in the best way, and perfectly swirled with cinnamon-sugar magic. The edges are golden with a slight crisp, but the inside? Pillow-soft and melt-in-your-mouth tender. One bite and I was plotting my next visit before I even finished.

Now, onto the sourdough bread — it’s basically the gold standard. Crusty on the outside with that ideal, crackly finish, and the inside is beautifully airy with just enough chew. The tang is chef’s kiss — balanced and subtle, not too sour, but just enough to know you’re dealing with something naturally fermented and crafted with real skill. I’ve had a lot of sourdough in my day, but this one honestly sets a new bar. Toast it, butter it, sandwich it, or just tear off a hunk and eat it plain....

We passed El Camino Donuts on our way to a potluck so we decided to stop in and get a dozen. I'm not a huge fan of donuts normally but these are really good! I do love an old fashioned donut and theirs was perfect. They had one with chocolate icing that was excellent too. The cinnamon rolls are quite large but perfectly cooked. They had a few options for cake donuts(my husbands favorite) and they were great too. I didn't get a chance to taste the filled donuts but our friends were impressed with them so I'll have to get more the next time I pass through Paris. If you're in the Bear Lake area this place is definitely worth a trip to Paris for breakfast or a...

It's the sourdough bread that's the STAR here. Big crusty boules of bread that can't be beat. Sure, the donuts are great, but the bread sets this place apart. No one in a hundred miles is baking bread of this quality. Crusty, spongy, a million nooks and cranies, tangy--perfectly formed. Clint and Caren are contributing great food and a comfortable funky place to gather, investing in the future of this community and valley. Stop here, buy donuts and coffee, eat them on the way home, but go for the BREAD and you'll be happy for days! Go early (Wed--Sat) cuz it sells out fast. Trust me, that tells you all you need to know. Cheers!
