The douglas lodge is by far the greatest establishment i’ve set foot in. beyond beautiful. I was taken aback by smokey the bear—truly a sight to beyond that bear. wow. The place to eat when you stay in the park. After our walk, we went in and waited about 10 minutes for our table. Nothing special about the decor, since we know where we are. My family has been going to Itasca State Park and Douglas Lodge Restaurant annually for 40+ years. The restaurant is a definite stop while visiting the beautiful park.
