It takes a lot for me to be this angry and hurt !! I called to order and pick up at 5:55 . The young lady on the phone, obviously did not know the menu, and it took a few minutes for her to know what dumplings were. She told me to wait at least 20 minutes before picking up my order. I arrived at 6:25. The restaurant was not busy. I gave My name to a gentleman at the front who told me he didn’t see the order. The young lady, I spoke to came out and said oh yes, I did speak to her. She said the kitchen was backed up at first. After searching and looking, she said she did not hit Send, and it had nothing to do with the kitchen being backed up… Then she told me the computers had gone down, with the other gentleman said they had not. Since I had visitors staying from Israel and I live in Boynton Beach, we eat at this restaurant every time my family is in town from Israel. This was the first time we were taking out. She said I will give you 15% off. Then she told me she couldn’t find the order in the system again. I asked to speak to the owner. A young man came out with a young girl with long blonde hair… Did not apologize for anything and told me my order would be ready in six minutes. Did you ever have a great meal come out in six minutes other than McDonald’s? It came out and he more or less threw it on the counter and said here’s your food. I asked for an extra bag of noodles and the girl with the young blonde hair said that’ll be a dollar. I looked at her in total disbelief and said you’re 40 minutes late with my food, you’re not apologetic and you were charging me an extra dollar for a bed and noodles? she said that’s our policy… I said is it also your policy to be rude to your customers… She said yes. The gentleman at the table and the owner started laughing as I was walking out… Just imagine what that felt like and that type of customer service or lack there of. I turned around infuriated and I looked at them and I said you were laughing at me and he looked at me and he said yes we are… So I say to all of you there are other loco Chinese restaurants that are really good in the area. I live in Miami Beach and I heard about this restaurant that I was taken over by new management and succeeding.. my wife and I wanted to try it... so we went there last night... the first thing is we noticed that they put down hot tea in a teapot and free ice water without any prompting.. Plus put down these dipping sweet sauce crunchy rinds.. we were super impressed. we ordered grilled chicken vegetables brown sauce dish and a wonton soup.. super delicious and super large... restaurant is full service . we had such a nice time at such a nice meal- tender and delicious . quality of the food was good.. super professional service from a middle-aged Chinese man.. they brought out our dish which was massive which luckily we shared .. it was still sizzling hot on some kind of wooden board. they gave us two plates for us to share.. to top it all off they gave us two Chinese cookies at the end.. we declined dessert. our total was $43 and some change and that included the 15% tip! The woman in the front, who happens to be the owner is the nastiest and most obnoxious resteraunt owner I have ever met. I had wanted to make reservations days in advance to make sure my elderly cousin and I would have a table. I called 3 separate times 3 days before and was screamed at by the same lady that I don't need a reservation. Finally, I arrive and I see a line out the door. I approach this lady who was the one I had spoken to on the phone and asked her, "I thought you told me I don't need a reservation and now I am already waiting 20 minutes for a table!?", and she screams at me telling me she can't do anything about it.
