Kiski River Lodge — Restaurant in Parks Township

We went to restaurant, did not purchase a room. Nice atmosphere, good service. I recommend giving it a try. Food was good. I had a burger and fries, my husband had a fish basket, his fries were included. Because I had to buy fries extra, I got them with gravy and cheese. Last time we came, the fries were fresh cut. This time they were not, but still very crispy and tasty. He said his fish was good also. Was a large helping, we had to take some home. The waitress was very friendly and prompt. Food arrived fast and hot. The zucchini is also recommended. The sauce seemed homemade, they were nice and brought us extra. The only thing I was displeased with was I ordered no onions, and still had onions on my burger. They were very flavorful, but I was not on an onion mood, could still taste them even after we got home. Total bill for the two of us was about $43.oo plus tip. Next time maybe we will...

It was our first time there, this past Saturday.

We were greeted by the waitress first, then the owner. Both were very friendly and personable.

Between the owner and the waitress, we were able to order from recommended items off the menu. The owner (who also is the cook) recommended ways to prepare the chicken sandwich which my Mom had.

The food arrived and prepared just like they said. Fresh ingredients, all food was served hot (two thumbs up!).

The restaurant was very clean, orderly, and seemed fresh. Its more of a sports bar atmosphere, but relaxing and quite though.

Food was good and seemed of good quality. We got wings, fries, potato skins and a burger between the two of us. We took 10/12 wings home so portions are good. The skins didn't have just a tsp of bacon bits, they were overflowing with bacon the way they should be. Beer on tap seemed fresh. The service was excellent. Parking and location fine.
