Taqueria Zihuatanejo 2 — Restaurant in Parlier

I recently visited this restaurant 8/14 for lunch and was disappointed with the quality of the food and service. The baked potato was cold, the carne lacked flavor, and the horchata tasted expired. The quesabirrias were overpriced 3 for $20 and tasted like they were drenched in canned enchilada sauce. There was no salt or condiments on the tables to improve the taste. Additionally, the server interrupted our meal to collect payment, which was unexpected and inconvenient as we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. One of my good friends'family owns this restaurant, so this might be a little biased. But I have to say that the experience I had with this establishment was extremely pleasant. In my personal opinion the food is extremely good, I do agree it is a little costly, but for the portions it is an extremely valid price. The restaurant in the atmosphere was also well off, the lady behind the counter treated me and my friends with extreme kindness and hospitality. 8.5 out of 10...

Used to be good but now they jacked up the prices on a lot of their food. Lady there started charging extra now on all the condiments. She told me a jalapeño or a few slices cucumber cost like a dollar each. Nah keep your food. I’m going somewhere else. All the other places that I go to don’t do that. This place is just getting to greedy now. I don’t recommend coming...
